At the time he signed last time, ROB was a top 3 earner at AFC.ROB is on $550k. This was covered in the Herald Sun's top salaries list.
Captain obvious lol.Call me the oracle
Maybe see what Ben Kennedy is up to?If we could get him and Tim Broomhead in, we'd have some decent depth
And.......?
As a flanker or a midfielder? If it's the later, has he shown that he can perform in the midfield at this level? If NWM stays at St.Kilda
They will be tying up big $$ just with TDK and NWM
Strike while the chance is there, Phillipou
Whose position will he take? Maybe Taylor? As a flanker or a midfielder? If it's the later, has he shown that he can perform in the midfield at this level?
They have no first round pick this year they cant trade next years first and they have f/s and nga cochrane next year who people think will be top 5 so how are they going to do all this without 1st rounders ?I think Butters will go this year but regardless you need to move past this theory that they can't get a deal done. It will get done. He would of already chosen where he is going, seems more likely to be Port.
It is better. But a decent role player can fill the gap. Online generally we see comments that they can’t get it done now that Bergman has resigned and Butters likely to stay for 2026 at least. Just highlighting the gap isn’t very big - particularly if teams are now projecting us to finish above Port over the next couple yearsA draft pick of 16 is a significantly better starting point of 26...
Given he has shown nothing at this level as a midfielder I wouldn't go near him. A 1st round pick for an injury riddled flanker, no thanks.Whose position will he take? Maybe Taylor?
Makes way more sense to be specific selections
Such a BS system that is going to gift them Cochrane. They have no first round pick this year they cant trade next years first and they have f/s and nga cochrane next year who people think will be top 5 so how are they going to do all this without 1st rounders ?

Salary cap has since gone up significantly & we have brought in plenty of players on more money.
I think Ah Chee would still be a very nice 7th forward in our setup. Gives us further best 22 depth in the case of an injury, as he’d be more productive than Taylor or Pedlar
Proven big game performer, too. I’d give him four years, takes him to 31 as he’s a late year birthday
Whose position will he take? Maybe Taylor?
Matt Scharenbergs knees should be ridgey didge by nowMaybe see what Ben Kennedy is up to?

Yeah well I'd be completely the opposite, I'd be going at him a million mph if there was even a slight chance to nab him.Given he has shown nothing at this level as a midfielder I wouldn't go near him. A 1st round pick for an injury riddled flanker, no thanks.

Has shown enough. Will be a gun. We went early with our offers to Dawson and Rankine - before they truly broke outAs a flanker or a midfielder? If it's the later, has he shown that he can perform in the midfield at this level?
