What period?Cotton also spent time with us as a coach.
Edit - 2015 and 2016 apparently when we weren't half bad.

Anyone know who Indy supports in the AFL? Surely it's us?Gettable saying we're chasing Indy Cotton as a Cat B Rookie. Talk he'd be a top 20 pick in the open draft. Port Adelaide, Brisbane, Gold Coast, West Coast, Collingwood, Essendon and Geelong all after him too, so I'd expect we don't get him.
Dad is Jarrod Cotton who played/coached at Port and now at the Suns as an Academy coach.
I doubt he's had any offers from other clubsNot sure about that. He reportedly had offers from other clubs. He more just seems like someone who wants to stay where he's comfortable and with mates.

And if he has and leaves it's not the worst thing

This is looking a bit of a dubious callNo. Keane definitely has to be moved on. You can't fix his flaws. A dumb footballer with no natural instinct is always going to be a liability.
Perfect summaryYeah the way I see it, if he was top 10-15 on our list at his age and had a history of health, you’d be happy with three years, hell you’d probably go to four
He’s in that 15-25 range as it stands, though. Two years is definitely the maximum I would’ve gone
To be fair Keane also lost a few important one on ones that led to goals too, something that happens too regularly. This is looking a bit of a dubious call
No natural instincts other than taking multiple intercept marks and a couple match saving when game on line ( hawthorn 2023 / port 2025 )
Reckon he would have had offersI doubt he's had any offers from other clubs

Feels like our depth won't be great next year with Tex likely gone, Burgess gone, Schoenberg gone, and Nicks not having tried Edwards or Ryan.Reckon he would have had offers
But agree with last bit
The kick stuff is hilarious , go watch the showdown back and tell me one bad kick he madeTo be fair Keane also lost a few important one on ones that led to goals too, something that happens too regularly.
Hopefully as the games tick by its an area he gets better at because his intercepting is more than useful.
That and maybe kick within his limitations more.
Edwards has to debut against eagles next weekFeels like our depth won't be great next year with Tex likely gone, Burgess gone, Schoenberg gone, and Nicks not having tried Edwards or Ryan.
Also most of keanes losses were ground ball , butts lost way more aerial contests than KeaneTo be fair Keane also lost a few important one on ones that led to goals too, something that happens too regularly.

The last quarter that led to a turnover and goal? Least think it was last quarter, it's on kayo mini. The kick stuff is hilarious , go watch the showdown back and tell me one bad kick he made
Just because a guy makes one howler occasionally doesn’t mean the kick options are bad
You also need to consider the agressive kicks he pulls off like not many others
Go look at his DE across the games which is very good for someone who doesn’t go safe and helps creates scores
Stretching itThe last quarter that led to a turnover and goal? Least think it was last quarter, it's on kayo mini.
Surely we have clauses about games played to reach 3rd year, particularly given his injury run.Happy enough for him to sign for a year.... but 3 ?
Hard to develop depth when the selectors won't play Bond, Edwards, Ryan, etc... & play Milers ahead of Nankervis.Feels like our depth won't be great next year with Tex likely gone, Burgess gone, Schoenberg gone, and Nicks not having tried Edwards or Ryan.
You asked for an example and said it wouldn't exist.Stretching it
Maybe he missed a couple of targets but no howlers
Went at 83% DE and didn’t just dab 20m kicks to side
Or this week for Tex, with Curtin going forward.Edwards has to debut against eagles next week
I doubt he's had any offers from other clubs
And if he has and leaves it's not the worst thing
Edwards has to debut against eagles next week
YepNo chance.
It's not like they only joined us either, and Nicks not having tried Edwards or Ryan.
Hope there’s some foresightNo chance.
Good chance to rest Tex and Milera that day , time will tellYep
Edwards will need two out of Laird, Smith and Milera to get a significant injury (not just a niggle) in order to play
Had a look and didn’t see itYou asked for an example and said it wouldn't exist.
