I doubt Nick Murray (contracted 2028) would want to move on unless it was for a fair bit more coin given his entrenched farming interests with Neddy at Hartley near Strathalbyn.

Surelt onus is on Murray to prove he’s ahead of Butts at this point rather than us to worry about keeping him?

I don’t think he offers any more than Sauce in that role. No point in e tending him when an equally untalented hack has 2 years left on a contract.

Oh, there is effectively 0 risk of losing them. More that for a first year resigning this seems very "on the fence" about both.

If potential to earn a lot more money was the genuine motivator, they don't sign at this point. That contract is on the table this time next year. Potentially it buys them an extra year on top of it.

They already have further years that they're signed for - this is just adding years to that deal.
