What are our thoughts on the CEO acting in this important role for the foreseeable future? Is he qualified or experienced? I'm not convinced on either point. And IIRC the consensus was that CEO Schwab shouldn't have been interfering in that dept when he was here. So what's different?

For mine, I hope it's a short term thing and we have someone else lined up before trade week.

I tend to agree, but there's nothing we can do about it. I also heard Ross is having a bigger say on all things list management.

Just have to wait and judge the results. Not looking good so far imo with the Balla and Bennell signings

I stated up to 2 months I was a fan of the Lyon. I have sat down since and looked at structures of all clubs and have gone back to us and seen how flawed we are.
I have made many comments since and have stated We are pretty well ****ed with our board (who have become stale and even worse complacent in accepting mediocrity) our coaching staff is disgraceful.
Something is seriously foul at the club and if any of you guys can not see this your pretty much doomed in life

Wallis can't be head of recruitment and list manager at the same time. With a draft less than 3 months away it probably make sense for Wallis not to step up. Equally there is no time to conduct a recruitment process for a new list manager before the trade period, so someone has to do it.

That being said pretty sure Lloyd was promoted to list manager from head of recruiting when Bond was elevated to head of football. If my guess about proximity to the draft is the reason Wallis hasn't been handed the acting role is wrong then the situation is a bit off.

How is the club in disarray ? Lloyd was a General Manager reporting to Rosich and Steve would be across what Lloyd was doing. He could rely on David Walls in regards the draft and trades so it is normal business for someone to oversee the vacant position till we appointment a new person.At the end of the day Steve is responsible for all operations if the footy club and implementation of Board strategies .
