haha this will be entertaining if two of essendons "gun" midfielders are out for this week. Our midfield is so far ahead of theirs atm, even with the chance that Bartel wont play.
On ballers: Ablett, Ling, Corey, Selwood, Prismall (hopefull inclusion if bartel doesn't play) compared to what Watson, Houli, Hislop (whoever that is?) and JJ if winderliech and Stanton don't play essendon better hope that Hird has the fitness to run the whole night out in the midfield otherwise their rooted.

Earlier tonight, the tribunal found Geelong captain Tom Harley guilty of making negligent contact with field umpire Ray Chamberlain and fined him $3,200.
Harley could have accepted a $2,400 fine with an early plea for the incident, which happened during Saturday's win over Sydney at Skilled Stadium.
But the tribunal ruled against Harley, who had argued Swans opponent Jude Bolton pushed him into the path of Chamberlain after a ball up.

Welsh might get a week yet, the fools are taking that to the tribunal.

The AFL tribunal took more than half an hour tonight to find Essendon forward Andrew Welsh guilty of front-on contact.

The verdict means Welsh will have 93.75 demerit points, just shy of a one-game suspension, for the next 12 months.

the only thing i dont like about it is it was pissweak but he's there captain and should know better. Now to the important stuff who will take his place johns ? gee i hope so he will get toweled up big time.

I also love watching Scarlo vs Lloyd, but...

This year is about winning the flag and destroying any one who gets in our way. The fact that Lloyd will miss just makes our life a little easier and brings us one step closer.

We will just have to make it a thrashing .

really with or without LLoyd it will be a great game. and we will have Lloyd to contest with in the finals so if they are good enough then we will see if it makes a difference.

It will only give them an excuse if we win by 1 - 30 or so, not if we smash them. If they get within 30 odd points, or worse, beat us then it will be a tremendous effort and they will undoubtedly thoroughly deserve it (we would also have to play very badly or suffer major injury throughout the game).

CJ wont play. Hille has to come back in so Laycock will play rotate ruck and FF he'll be a tough matchup none of your key defenders are very tall.
