If Carlton bid at pick 26 because of the FS discount we can use our second pick in the draft to match the points required for Brown, we wouldn't need to use pick 28 I'm lead to believe.
You're wrong.

God I hope north don't pick up English.

Mutch and Clarke are fine picks, but I hope north at least pick up a genuine mid with pace and class.

great effort mate

anyway there is a lot of talk that the dogs are keen on either Marshall or English at pick 18 if they slip, or they will simply pick the next best kid, Berry could be that player.

Luke Ryan is another name being mentioned that i dont expect to see him slip past the dogs 2nd pick at 26.

thoughts on Ben Long at 50? i know most doggies fans hope we pick him up, and hannan might also be an option at 75 as i dont think we will pick up any DFA

67 CARL Ryan Garthwaite SOS seems to love GWS players, and they need KPP to play down back - I can see this happening.

Two points here. SOS seems to love GWS players that he recruited. With Weitering, Plowman, Marchbank and Rowe, KPDs is probably our least area of need now.

ROUND TWO
No.
Club Player Rationale
20 ESS Jordan Ridley A good sized forward / backmen that offers some good value and versatility for the Bombers - Big Bolter!
21 BL Josh Rotham Time to stregthen the backline, Lions likely bottom 4 next couple of years, but I can see Rotham playing 30-40 games by end 2018.
22 BL Alex Witherden If they double up here with quality defenders, in a few years time, their backline could be basis of their successful rebuild.
23 STK Jy Simpkin Best available (if still available) likely will be gone by now, but if still on the board, saints should pounce.
24 GEEL Patrick Kerr Vardy was always seen as a key forward in Cats plan,. He is gone now - time to add a big fella up forward for the future.
CARL Nominates Harrison Macreadie - GWS Matches
25 GWS Harrison Macreadie This should be GWS last pick,. They'll put themselves into deficit for 2017, but won't care. Another draft, another 4 top 25 picks.
26 CARL Jordan Gallucci Someone may reach for Galluci in the first round, seems to be a lot of chatter about clubs who like him, Blues will buy the hype.
WB Nominates Callum Brown - Collingwood Matches
27 COLL Callum Brown No way the Magpies let him go. Magpies would love the bid to come after their first pick, but I can't see it.
WB Nominates Jacob Allison - BL DO NOT Match
28 WB Jacob Allison Allison could be the big surprise reach-pick of the draft, a genuine 'Utility' who the dogs could mould into a number of positions.
29 RICH Brennan Cox The Tigers need some height down back, another guy who could go anywhere in 2nd/3rd round.
30 ESS Jeremy Goddard Big Lad and a Goddard.. Can see if happening :)
31 PORT Will Hayward I see port and the crows trying their best to pick the top talents from SA if possible, This has guy has bolted, very classy.
32 PORT Jonty Scharenberg Will go with one of Port's two 2nd rounders if he is still available. Another who could be the bargain of the entire draft.
NMFC Nominates Brad Scheer - GCFC Matches
33 GCFC Brad Scheer Gold coast are losing players too often, they should match any bids for academy players unless ridiculous.
34 NMFC Kobe Mutch North need depth everywhere, Mutch looks like a safe midfield pick, deserves to be gone by this stage.
35 NMFC Dylan Clarke Another quality midfielder who if still available I can't see the Roos passing up.
36 WC Zac Fisher Local lad who could spend a couple of years learning off Mitchell and Priddis, could be a ball winning monster longterm.
37 FREM Jack Maibaum Big Key Defender, Could end up playing very early in 2017 purely due to the lack of depth in Freo's defence.
38 STK Lachlan Tiziani Saints could go with some forward depth here, pretty good size 3rd/4th FWD option
39 GEEL Luke Ryan Mature aged Defender that could play round 1 for the cats, with them going for a flag next year, he could suit well.
40 FREM Myles Poholke Ball magnet with a mature sized frame, Freo could do with streghtening up their midfield further.
Sorry but it's extremely unlikely that we match a pick for Brown using pick 28

Mate thats a great look at it well done..

Are you serious.... I wouldn't have a problem with us taking berry with 7.... If he is there at 19 Sydney will most definetly take him...:

We need foot speed. I rate Berry have no issue taking him but we need to take a genuine outside in our first 2 selections (one of them if not both)
