Games have been expanded to California this season. I was lucky enough to watch a Golden State Warrior NBA game there which is opposite the Colisseum in 2017.

I feel like cricket in the US is really getting into the psyche of the US sports market. It will never be as big as: NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL or even the MLS. But its a good option, in a good time zone and the thing is they are talking about expansion of the number of teams in 2027.

Im not sure if there is room in the calendar for a longer version of an MLC but its here to stay.

US Cricket internationally when I last checked the ODI Cricket League 2 were top of the standings above teams like: Netherlands, Scotland to name a few.

Wow I didn't realise they're playing at the bloody Oakland Coliseum, that's pretty cool. Looks like a decent enough crowd for the double header today, I've only just tuned in for the second game. Keen to see this league expand over the next five years.

What this innings indicates to me is Maxwells best is probably still good enough against 2nd rate attacks.

Lets no kid ourselves: Corne Dry, van Schalkwyk, Holder and Andre Russell. Maxwell also would have seen alot of Narine and Tanveer Sangha in circuits around the world.

LA Knight Riders have Jason Holder as captain. Thats enough said for me in terms of their ambitions to win this tournament.

Rare do you see an opener retire after a ton in T20 cricket, but thats what happened in todays game between LA and Washington in Texas.

With Washington needing 2 runs off the last 5 balls, its criminal to be leaving that to the last ball to win. The Freedom eventually got the win.

And what makes that last ball more ironic, was Los Angeles dropped a dolly off last ball, which would have sent that to a Super Over.

Warner not playing for Seattle against New York today.

Klaasen not captaining as the Orcas are 0-5 and looks like a change in leaders.
