"I was stuck at the bottom of the pack and obviously felt the arm get pulled and it was a pretty uncomfortable position, but I'm not sure of what he [Judd] was trying to do.

As far as I'm aware Rich hasn't got a history of this sort of thing and I hope he gets suspended for tonight's one, to discourage him and others from doing that sort of shit again in the future. It was very ordinary and a lot more dangerous than a lot of the stuff that you see suspensions getting handed out for each week.

The thing about Judd is the nature of his offenses. It's not the normal type of thing you see from players who get hot-headed on the field, he just seems so cool and calm, and just casually inflicts pain on helpless opponents for no apparent reason other than to do it. It gets hard to view it as just an isolated incident, or just five isolated incidents. I seriously wonder about what kind of person this guy is, and I am very glad that he is not a part of Hawthorn. If he was, I would want us to delist him. Not try to trade him, just sack him. Club culture is worth so much more than one admittedly very talented player.

Hall has a record that is largely made up dog acts, hitting blokes behing the play (broke a kids jaw behind play in the twos, Goose in the 05 pre lim, Stakes) hitting blokes when they can't defend themselves (Rutten). When offered an chance to exhibit his ability in the ring recently he backed out, for reasons not made public, but still backed out. He got by on a tough guy reputation for years and it was purely based on his aesthetics, post football had a chance to showcase and squibed it.

Didn't say Hall was weak or would shit himself face to face, but when was the was his toughness ever exhibited? When was it something more than a media beat up? When did he actually show something other than being a bit of a brute and thug? Being a thug is a weaker choice than not whacking blokes.

Judd now has a history of acts involving players on the ground and unexpecting the contact that Judd applies. Eye gouging (twice), elbowing, and chicken winging are not noble feats, and while not as traditional as simply punching someone, they really aren't what you'd like to be associated with. This can be said to rival Hall, in terms of the frequency, and the cowardly nature.

It's bullshit. I know Adams is not going to dob in another player. The point was he said he played out the game. Judd did not dislocate his shoulder.


Therefore, you started a thread saying Judd is the dirtiest player in the game - and apart from Pavlich which was accidental and for which he was cleared- you guys on here can't even prove he actually has hurt anyone ???

Players have been openly trying to get their opponents off for years and for you to use Adam's post match quote as evidence of no wrongdoing by Judd is just that....stupidity.

Further to the above, yes I am still filthy on Guerra for his awful and unwarranted attack on the man that now has him sidelined. It is not acceptable, regardless of who you play for or what your name is.

Surely Hayden Balantyne deserves that mantle ahead of Judd. That shot shows nothing - it's the further lift that was pretty reckless.

Just like, say, sneaking in a jab to the face or jaw with the forearm while in a bit of push and shove. But the latter is 'manly' and barely worthy of mention.

What that shot does show is the angle of his arm that Judd bends it back. Very damning and further evidence of a disgraceful act.

I actually almost feel sorry for you lot, he's your messiah, he's almost single handedly brought your club back from being an absolute joke, and now you all feel the need to defend his disgraceful actions. What you're getting confused about is that I don't believe the assertions that he is the dirtiest player in the game, a potential murderer, youth-corrupter, psychotic or should be barred from playing entirely.

The OP of the thread presents an assertion which people are asked to disprove. Generally that is an entirely arse-about way of discussing any issue. More fool me for playing the game.
