make sure you get a footy record this week if your going to the game.
8 possible changes perhaps and id say fairly warranted.

out:
stafford-will get at least 2 weeks.
hall-out with a knee
rogers-has been dissapointing this year.
tivendale-got to learn to play 4 qtrs of football.
king-out of form.
knights-sad to say but he no longer can stamp his authority on a game.
houlihan-has been rather dissapointing all year.
bowden-if danny wants to send a message then bowden is the obvious one.so talented its not funny but makes some stupid mistakes for a person that is so gifted.

in:
homewood-mainly due to injuries and suspension but a good time to see if thios lad is up to it.
vardy-if fit not sure but need him to step up.
poyas-finally rewarded for form in the vfl.
hyde-like poyas form warrants it.
hudson-only going on what has been said this week he cant do nay worse than houlihan.
fiora-served his time in the vfl.
pettifer-chuck the kid in the middle all game and see once and for all if he is up to it.
mills-not sure why but why not lol.

ps.if anyone is going this week we are winding back the clock and getting our moneys worth.. curtain raiser at the "G" geelong vs coburg.

cheers!

Stafford MAY be lucky - it all depends on how the tribunal will view it. He can legitimately claim that he did not intentionally strike Kingsley and that he was just trying to fend him off. Consider that Lloyd did the same thing to Holland in Round 2 and didn't even get cited. If the tribunal decide that Stafford wasn't reckless, he will get off.

Both Hall and Ottens are less than 50/50 at the moment and both are unlikely to play. Homewood will most likely come in and have to ruck in his first game against Steven King. Welcome to the big time son!

The changes could look something like:

Stafford -> Homewood
Hall -> Vardy
Rogers -> Poyas
Tivendale -> Hyde
Houlihan -> Hudson
Knights -> Pettifer
King -> Ednie
Sziller -> Fiora

Despite what was in the Hun this morning, A. Kellaway has been in reasonable form this season and shouldn't be dropped. In fact the defence has been OK for the whole year - they can't be blamed for a midfield that gives up without a whimper. Gaspar, Torney (that haircut's a shocker), Chaffer, Zantuck and Cameron will all be safe.

Bowden was possibly our best player - at least he put in and actually earn't some of the ball - and won't be dropped.

Campbell went missing again in a big game (PB's point yesterday about all his possies being as cheap as a Groucho Marks suit was spot on!) but has been solid all year.

Huddo and Fiora are to be definite inclusions this week according to the panel on club corner. Despite Coburg having a very average game against Frankston, Fiora had a very good match and Huddo had 22 possies and 3 goals playing in the pocket.

What's the news about Poyas having hamsting problems?...is this the case . I also noted that Richo was taken of late in the 3rd quarter because of an injury concern with he's knee,any news on whether its serious?

There will probably be 2 forced changes this week,Hall (inury) and Staff if he gets rubbbed out. My guess, as to who else will be dropped,well i could'nt say but im sure others will have there opinons.

Theres a slight possibility he could be unavailable for the weekend.He is being sentenced on friday in the Geelong courts for his assault on the police officer.

Now the judge could be cruel & sentence him to play for the Richmond seniors the next day,but I think that would be a bit harsh. :D

maybe several weekends....I wouldn't know but I'd imagine he'd be in big danger of doing a stretch. It wouldn't be unreasonable either...the courts can't condone elite footballers flogging coppers...if he gets time I won't be the least bit sorry for him....

Millsy, Millsy....what were you thinking about ?? :confused: :confused:

Have you seen him play JubJub? That wouldn't be fair, punishing the senior team like that! :eek: This kid is a cert for delisting at the end of the year.

I think that is just so toally cool I'll be there for sure even though I'll be going to bed late and getting up early.when was the last time there was a curtain rasiser at an AFL match? I get the felling they are only doing it cause of the changers this week.I hope that Martin McGrath takes an other exellecent mark this week and I see it oh and I hope Cobrug win :D

Even though it was our 'home' AFL game, it was a Geelong 'home' game in the VFL.

The only time we have a curtain raiser is when Coburg are 'away' to a standalone AFL team (Carlton / Essendon / Geelong) on a Saturday or Sunday 'day' game.

oh ok than and I know it was a Geelong home game in the VFL.I only just got there in time to see the Cobrug game from the start phew.final scores 79-78 what a good game and it was great to see Cobrug play even though they lost by a point.Kights played very well and kicked a great goal.
