Going by this doco it’s all Cameron has though. Even when he’s trying to be more understanding you can tell it’s insincere and he doesn’t believe a word of it. It’s like he’s been forced to go on a course to learn how to be a better leader and is trotting out lines.
Hmmm... it’s almost like they edit it for a particular purpose and with a particular storyline in mind.

Do you really think everyone just hates Leon Cameron and are bashing him because they're bored?
Do you really think the lone guy defending him who happens to be a GWS supporter couldn't possibly be just a little biased hmmmm?

Of course coaches yell and single out players but every player reacts differently Cog clearly isn't the type to go "fu** you i know im good i'll ******* show you" he's the type to wallow in his sadness thinking he's not good enough, As a coach you should know who is what, but he clearly has no relationship with any of his players.
Yep. Because clearly you know the players better than their coach.
All I’m saying is it’s a show that’s edited with a particular storyline in mind.

That might be true but he just comes across as extremely negative. Simpson told the Eagles players "I can give you a kick up the arse but that will only motivate you for 10 minutes" seems to be Cameron's go to. And whats the continual questioning of Coniglio in front of the players/leadership group? If you've got something to say or need to chat to him about how he's coping with the captaincy do it one on one, don't shift it onto the rest of the team to call him out

I did laugh at the part where Leon Cameron channels a bit of Terry Wallace from Year of the Dogs in manner of which he pissed off about his captain being had a go at outside the club all week. Cameron actually chose him as captain. Maybe you just made the wrong choice of a captain.

Enjoying this so far. About half way through the episodes.

From what I seen so far, think Matthew Nicks comes across decent in his first gig as a coach. Least on this doco I seen so far.

Netflix, Stan, Spotify - where does it end?

I'm not subscribing to any more. $15 here, $7 there, $20 over there. Its not hard to spend over $50 a month on this stuff.

I'm sure by the time I've finished work for the day it'll be there in HD, for free.
It’s 7$. It’s two coffees a month for that. You can cancel immediately and still have the month and watch other things. I get it can add up over a year but one month is nothing.

Cameron at one point after blasting players says "Good chat" to end off. A chat tends to be a two way thing. Maybe there was more earlier not shown but it just looked like a dressing down and not a chat.
Yep no self awareness. The players just get up heads down.

Haha those were my thoughts exactly!

Amazon Prime is actually the best value streaming service there is as they don't charge extra for HD/4K as the others do, and their library of movies is better than any streaming service there is in this country.

But I agree with some of the comments here. This doco is not showing Leon Cameron in a very good light. But I'm trying not to judge him too harshly as we're only seeing selected edits.

Those conversations happen all the time at footy clubs and in elite sports. Eg It was the same feedback from Gary Abletts teammates that caused the big spike in his performance.
Coaches do it all the time. If they can’t handle criticism in front of their teammates they won’t make it.
