After reading the Telegraph article it seems Mal is feeling good about this. With Tadgh back I hope this frees Mal up to play, IMO, his natural position on the wing. His pinpoint passes into the forward 50 are things of beauty and if on song, goals from 50. 2 days to go..

keep the faith people. out of all our boys, i have the highest hopes for him this year. Of course, i may end up with egg on my face!

He will be delisted. Too much hype.

Too much talent for Mal just to be another player.

It would be a major failure for Malceski to simply go wandering into the realms of nothingness.

He's still got some time on his side to become a top player whixh his ability suggests he should be. But the point to that is SOME... 2010 is a big year in the football life of Nick Malceski and hopefully he has the charector to deliver.

I'm not sure how we are going to fit all these "hyped up" players in our 22!

Currie, Jetta, TDL, Malceski, Kennelly, Mumford... the list of these players go on and on.

Also, someone I haven't heard a lot about... Kristern Thornton! What are people's expectations for him this year?

I dont think he has even started full training yet. Has had surgery on his knee i think, and has been part of the rehab group for a while. I cant see him cracking the 22 unless there are injuries, but he is another solid backup for us to have ready to go. So versatile and showed a bit last year. Hope he sees some action at some point but i have a bad feeling he wont.

It's so annoying i want all the players to be able to play in the 22 cause i love 'em all so much.

Wow that sounded rather effeminate didnt it.

To be honest I could see us busy in trade week next year the other way around, offloading a lot of guys who want greater opportunity, with names like Barlow (has had interest from Carlton two years in a row now), Thornton, Eski - possibly - and a few others. Dunno, just a feeling.

Bez has a good rule.... No trade week talk to the season is effectively done and dusted.

It's a new season and lets see how they go before we start trading names.

Will make a big impact this year. Either getting his spot back at HBF or play the Fosdike role from the bench.

In Malceski we trust.

Fair enough, just all this talk of our depth had me thinking, but you're right.

hey its hardly a rule, feel free to discuss what you want I just liked the fact it was kept in its own thread that I didnt have to read, its very negative stuff especially at this time of year and it happens every year.

The good news is he has gone back to his original look, minus the dodgy facial hair
