Fred is apparently off to Galastary
DVB is wanted by Ajax rumours of a swap plus cash with Kudus

Looks like next few weeks, we will be focusing on sales. Bailly, Maguire, McTominay, Fred and Donny up for sale. I'd like to keep Fred for depth and buy Amrabat also but perhaps ETH might buy another midfielder on top of Amrabat later in the window, if Fred is sold.

Sounds like Greenwood comeback is gathering momentum..
Very disappointed in the club if this happens. Should have been booted as soon as the video was released.

Hard to believe we paid more for Holjund then Man City did for Haaland

Man Utd tax

Haaland had a release clause. The total value of the transfer isn't just what is paid to the selling club though. Look into the agents fees involved in the Haaland deal and the wages he's on and you'll see that he cost City way more than we're going to have to pay for Hojlund.

Yeah i understand that but it's a bloke who scored 9 league goals last season we paid a lot for him i wish we could have held them to around 50 mil

Welcome to Manchester United, Rasmus Højlund!
It is so good to finally have a striker. I love Martial, but he just hasn’t been able to get himself right, and the mismanagement he has endured throughout his career hasn't helped. Højlund is certainly reminiscent of Haaland. Both are powerful runners, have top speed, and are imposing figures at over 190cm. He is a good finisher and a hard runner who will press for the ball, traits that we desperately need in our Number 9, with Ten Hag himself saying after the Real Madrid loss that we need a finisher and presser up front. Hojlund needs to develop his patience, anticipation, and football IQ because he isn't as physical as Haaland, but he is 3 years younger than Haaland.
Hojlund is no doubt a risk with that price tag (nearly €85,000,000) due to his inexperience and still being relatively unknown at the highest level. But it is clear that he is one of the best of this new type of Number 9 that we are seeing come through. Ten Hag has a plan and a vision for this club, and it is clear that he sees Højlund as arguably the most vital player to ensuring his plan works. So I trust that he has made the right decision to stump up so much for him. He's not going to be the finished article, and he will take time to develop, but his talent is undeniable. I hope he can go on and make himself the latest star in our storied history of Number 9s.

We're not spending like a Glazer owned club.

Yeh, I'm getting the feeling here that takeover has been completed (NDA in place ofcourse, waiting to be announced after transfer market has closed) and the winner is calling the shots from behind the scenes.

Apparently, Amrabat bid has also gone in..

City paying Haaland a million a week balances it well and truly out.

And whatever signing on fee was included.

Interesting question is this our best window since fergie?

No, definitely not. I like all the players we've brought in but we've overpaid and the timing has been poor. So too have the outgoings which has been a joke.

If we're talking quality alone it's arguably not even as good as last summer.

I don’t know. I still get chills just thinking about selling Ronaldo and buying Owen, Obertan, Valencia and Mame Biram Diouf with that money
