Same. Didn't have hopes of even a remote chance of winning it.

But at 2-1 down with 91mins completed...

I didn't think it was over but the 99 Champions League final popped into my head... wish it didn't :'(

With 5 minutes to go I jokingly thought to myself "If City were to ever get revenge for the Owen winner a few seasons back it'd be now"

Joey Barton can eat a penis.

QPR battled and defended extremely well. Stoke's equaliser worried me alot at the time. QPR were safe if they lost so they had that little cushion. But when destiny was out of your hands, you only have yourself to blame.

Hopefully some signings in midfield and come back stronger next season.

I knew it would be something heartbreaking like that. Distraught but only have themselves to blame. Gotta win it next year now

I had a $5 multi on the final day, City drawing was the final leg to come in as all the other games had finished (or were safe).

I watched United win and flicked over to watch injury time. Immediately Dzeko scores. 2-2.

At that stage United are champions and I'm $10,000 richer......My heart was racing with excitement and anticipation.

Enter Kun ****ING Aguero.

I sat there dumbly for 20 minutes, unable to speak and not sure what hurt more, United losing in '99 Munich fashion or missing out on $10k.

Sport, the highest of highs and the lowest of lows.

I'll take the blame for Joey Barton after my post yesterday. In reflection, it was amazing our so called 'shithouse' squad were champions in the last 5 minutes of the last day of the season.

Have to laugh at the Red Scouse ****wits celebrating like they won it last night. Suck it up cupcakes - your team is shit and you manager is even worse!!!

Hahahaha what hurts more?
The blokes across the road snatching the title from you with 90 sec left in the season, or that every single Liverpool supporter is happy that it happened lol.

Definitely the first one. The Liverpool reaction is expected and hardly something we'd be concerned with. We know we're in a better position than you for next season.

Agree totally with this.

Who cares what the supporters of a mid-table club think? We will go about the business of trying to win the title back while you continue to hope for a good cup run.

I felt like throwing my iPhone against the wall when I heard the goal had been scored, I was ready to celebrate after hearing on BBC sports that Man Utd had won and next second, I hear screams of Aguero. Cannot think of a shitter way to lose.

Bad luck guys. Posted in another thread that I know it goes against the Liverpool supporter status-quo but when City were losing 2-1 going into stoppage time and you guys were winning 1-0, I can't say I was unhappy. Couldn't help it when Aguero's winner went in to get a bit excited but that's more out of the amazement of the circumstances.

You probably didn't have high hopes going into the match and most were expecting City to win comfortably. But seeing QPR 2-1 up with 4 minutes to go you can't help but think it's pretty much sewn up.

Considering your injuries and stuff to even get this close is an amazing acheivement in itself, but with Ferguson there we all know you will be there or thereabouts every season. And if anything this new emergence of the 'noisy neighbours' will probably spur him on for a few years longer.

The fact that you're happy someone else won it other than you...again...for what 20 years...that's a thing of beauty in itself. Have a nice day. :)

Shock, horror...Liverpool fan breaking out the City flag

I ought to delete it, but I figure others deserve right of response. Twat.

Aww damn, I missed out reading what the master troll said. I'm assuming Larry the Liquidator

With 7 games left in the season i thought we had it in the bag.

**** it we were disgraceful in the last few weeks

Anyone over 30 who is useless should be shown the door and if we are a so called rich club whay can't we spend more money buying world class players instead of average players.

We did spend 50m last season, mind you.

Having said that, I think that 'cos it was in areas we didn't need investment the most, people tend to discount that
