Moyes has gotten an amazing amount from what is a middle of the road side in Everton, if he had a bit of money to spend he could be anything.

I just hope we don't go through a Chelsea - style merry go round in the next few years.

I've read that our new manager could be revealed within days, but he will have to resign at his current club first.

Wouldn't that rule out Mourinho because he won't resign, he will get sacked.

There wouldn't be many top candidates who aren't currently managing

Whoever it is will be under immense pressure as soon as they have two bad performances, only one who could withstand that sort of pressure is Mourinho.

It was nearly 10 years ago that Rooney left Everton, so our best hope is that it is now water under the bridge and they could work together.
