So wait, do we want him to win or not?

The realms of probability suggest he has a slim chance of playing league football, so it probably doesn't really matter too much.

9:03, midfield. Winner ran an Olympic A qualifying time.

Promising time but 40sec off that A qualfying time. Fair to say he's a massive long shot for London.

Not be a dick about it but... AWESOME :D
Not sure of his footballing skills but would be an awesome ruck man or lead up forward with that delicious pace.

Kenya by the looks of it. Would be the most annoying tagger ever, would go and go and go and go and go and go.

I say as long as he has the basics down pat, just get the ball to him and let him run ;)

That could be the way of the future. lol

Assuming he kicks it and doesn't just run straight over the line :p

We'd hope that would be the case! Maybe rugby would suit him a little better.

I'm thinking he may be a little bit on the lean side for rugby... :D

Brett Mullins for canberra used to go alright....He may make an ok fullback.

9:03 over steeples, is not mucking around, and his flat time would be much quicker than that, at around 198cm, gee! I hope there's some footy talent there.

See how quick he is if he puts on the 20 kgs he will need to be an AFL footballer:D

He could turn into a useful athletic ruckman with a big leap.

It will be an interesting comparison between Blicavs and Folau to see who makes a better fist of it in the long run. Both similar heights, but coming from opposite ends of the weight/fitness scale.

As much as I'd like to see the big fella become a good player, I just can't see it happening.
Looks very similar to K Hunt I reckon.
Just too often lost out on the field, and lacking the engine to play AFL at the level required.

that's exactly it marsh, he may have all the athletic ability of Franklin but it's the ability to find the ball and use it which separates the average from the very good and most people just can't make the VFL level let alone AFL.

Takes years to gain that awareness on a footy field and he just gets the ball and before he knows what he wants to do...he's already got someone tackling him.
The good thing though is that we will gain 1000's and 1000's of Rugby followers who will eventually start picking up the sherrin over that ugly other oval shaped thing.
