If a 4th was to be made, what period would people like to see? I would like something to do with the 1st contact war or even one of the earlier civilisations fight against the reapers.

This would be my first preference :thumbsu:

Wouldn't mind playing as young Captain Anderson either (probably because I love Keith David's voice).

I personally wouldn't like to see a prequel. Because of the first three games we already know the end results of many previous wars/historical events. That and the fact that because of this established story, you would think that there wouldn't be as many big decisions to make because it would contradict the lore.

Don't know how a sequel could work, Shepard was a big part of Mass effect would be hard without him at least part of the story.

A prequel can work if done right first contact Wars would be my pick start with the lead up to first contact with the Turian's, the wars an everything that goes with it etc.. etc.. then being accepted to the citadel at the end, you can span it over years. Like another trilogy.

sure we know what happens but that's the point of prequels it's nice to play it out through.

Finally got around to playing Citadel and it's not too bad. A tip for anyone who hasn't played it: don't even bother trying to do it on insanity difficulty. I was playing through on insanity trying to get the achievement but that was too frustrating and time consuming and I had to drop the level down.
Just finished another play through of ME3 and I completed the citadel DLC on insanity (didn't even have to lower the difficulty :) ), I'm so happy with myself.

On a side note while a prequel of sorts would seem counter productive IMO, what about an alternative universe setting or another Mass effect story in a different galaxy, seems like a viable way to go for mine.

How long did it take you to get past the last boss?

I'd be up for another galaxy but they would somehow have to come up with a completely different story.

30 minutes, figured out an awesome strategy to win, but still dies a shit tonne.

As long as it had the Mass Relays I think they could pull it off.

The mass relays were created by the Reapers so that would mean they would have to include them again in another galaxy. If they were to switch galaxy's then they would need to come up with a different conflict (no reapers) and come up with another means of jumping from system to system.

It'll have to be somewhere between the first contact war and ME1, (unless they don't want humans involved) Meaning the relays will be there but the Reapers aren't ready to destroy us yet.

Unless they go for something in the future then who knows.

Still need to go through the DLC for ME3.

Was trying to play through a new character, but have stalled halfway in the 1st quite a while ago.

Starting a ME2 Insanity playthrough. It's the only achievement I don't have in the trilogy and don't want to leave it at 99%.

Got as far as the first collector ship mission in earlier attempt but built my character poorly which meant I couldn't get much further.

Looked up some guides and character build strategies to try and get through it this time.

Will the trilogy be remastered for the new consoles? Everything else has been why not?

Apparently not, i've read reports stating something along the lines of EA/Bioware are not interested in developing past games and are all about putting their full efforts into Andromeda and other future projects, they could possibly change their minds on that but unlikely

If it does happen it probably wouldn't be until the next generation of consoles at least considering Andromeda isn't supposed to be a stand alone game IIRC.

I just think it would be a great hype up in the lead up to Andromeda.
I would love to see how it looks remaster on a PS4 especially the first one.

Guess it's not Biowares focus and that's cool, better to put all attention toward Andromeda and make that the best game it can possibly be.

One of the devs actually walked this back a touch in a podcast a month or two ago

Said they normally dont.. He felt the modders generally were doing the post release upgrades well enough for me/da, and their focus was better on new work.

However the demand for a rerelease had surprised them, and while its unlikely they wont rule it out

Playing through 3 again at the moment and just want to say Traynor has to be the best character in the game and one of the best in the trilogy when playing as fem Shep and romancing her.

Probably not.
If you have an Xbox One the whole trilogy is backwards compatible.

I already have it on the PS3, was just wondering if a HD remastered was on the cards, I wouldn't mind seeing how it looks and holds up on the PS4!
