Mis matches must be the order of the night for us to have any hope..

A small nimble forward line hopefully might be able to manufacture a score .. Bowden up forward is a must while I'd play Rogers there too .. AK can also go forward but I'm not confident.

Would get as much height up forward as possible at the expense of height down back...At least it gives us some confidence in moving the ball forward and hopefully will result in a direct game plan tonight...A small nimble forward line could work in theory but not with our skill level and penchant for bombing it in..would love to be proved wrong on that count ..all IMO of course...

This would be suicide! Most defences are geared towards covering big players - having a small forward line may work to our advantage. The Sydney game showed that if they all try hard enough, it is possible to kick a winning score with a small forward line.

Bowden is a cert to spend time there. Campbell is also excellent on a lead and can also mark overhead. He will spend time here. Rogers is a proven forward (time to prove it again) and will be part of the rotation.

I don't think AK makes that good a set forward. He doesn't have the explosive pace on a lead and is too easily spoilt. Most of his goals come from sneaking forward, running with the flight of the ball, turning in mid-air and taking a chest mark oblivious to the danger of the oncoming pack.

If he starts in a forward position with someone guarding him, he is too easily overcome.

You may be right ,but i think with the aid of rampant flooding you can get away with a shortish backline more than a short forward line.Especially us..maybe if we had a few more players with skill a short forward line could work but the thought of the likes of kingy kicking to a bunch of short people doesn't inspire...

On another note will be interesting to see if Zantuck is given another go up forward..despite his kicking he really looked good up there i thought..

Yes, 100% right! Although 1.4 is pretty bad, we must not overlook the fact that he managed to get 5 shots on goal within a quarter.
