Leicester lucky, could of very easily been given hand ball.
Hadn't he turned around and it hit him on the elbow? I'm only going off the BBC site but they didn't seem to think it should have been given.

Perfect result. We get 3 points, Newcastle look like they should stay up based on that.

We played nothing like how we can but still managed 3 points. It's what champion teams do. Bodes well for the rest of the season I think.

Palace away up next. Piss off Pardiola!

Written in the stars. Offside goal, from a free-kick that never was.

Good penalty shout for Newcastle turned down.

Reckon this title will be won before the last 3 games.

Wasn't offside. The first ball was never going to Vardy and then it hit the Newcastle defender.

With Arsenal & City falling off the pace & United / Chelsea / Liverpool nowhere near the top of the ladder it will be a huge failure for Spurs not to win the title from here. There will never be a better chance for them.

No it's not because Leicester keep winning. If Leicester were stumbling and Spurs failing to capitalise then it would be a failure.

The failure is Arsenal's this season. Always laments not being able to compete with oil money. Doesn't have that excuse this season.

I reckon Leicester have it.

Spurs should be content with a top 2 spot (In the Champions League), Finishing above Arsenal would also be a massive bonus for them.

But Leicester has billionaire owners? Arsenal can't compete with that financial might.

Arsenal's season is a failure by the fans' standards.

By the board and manager's standards, however, the only difference between this year and the past two seasons is no FA Cup. UCL money (most likely) is pretty obviously the club's only internal goal (I don't believe for a second they seriously target the title with the squad they've created and complete lack of investment in it) so by that measure the club hasn't failed. Now, I don't argue that we haven't failed - we have in the eyes of most fans - but I'm simply highlighting that the club sets a fairly modest benchmark which it will meet. The same can't be said for many other clubs.

Clubs that clearly haven't met their respective goals in the league are Chelsea and City, so they are 1 and 2 for me in terms of failure. Then it's United (should they miss the UCL) while we're probably next.

Edit: not including the relegation threatened clubs. Villa, Newcastle and Swansea have been super disappointing - the latter two would've had top 10-12 as a goal.

Pretty sure Arsenal aren't poor either. the point is the excuse is over oil money, can't compete with City/Chelsea etc

If someone told you at the start of the season that with 9 games to go none of City, Chelsea, Liverpool or United were top 3, who would you assume were top of the league?

You'd assume Arsenal / Spurs.

Funny what greed does, would have bit your hand off pre-season for 2nd and above Arse. Now we're here I want Leicester to choke so badly :(
