Not even sure the invincibles would win the title in this season

I couldn't be surer that they'd win it, and I'm just as certain they'd finish unbeaten. The Invincibles would love playing in a league without an early-2000s Manchester United. Henry and Bergkamp would be licking their lips at playing this top 4-6. Would smack each and every one of them comfortably.

Imagine Henry and Bergkamp against this Aston Villa side LOL. Bobby and Freddie terrorising the fullbacks, with Vieira bossing it in the middle. Campbell could defend without any legs against some of these sides.

Bias much

i miss when the epl was worth watching, looking forward to next season
You're being a mug. Same old teams at the top, duulllll. Go and watch the Spainish or Scottish leagues if that's what you are after.

We finally have something approaching parity, and that's the best thing that's happened to the league for a long time

Sunderland were worse than Villa in that season

So who were in invincibles team when everyone was fit and who was on the bench?

And even then, they were decent players. Kanu was also old at that point IIRC. Cygan was rubbish lol.

Would storm the league with ease. Henry was pretty much at his peak then too. Would score goals for fun and make it look effortless.

Ok just looked it up.

So you had:
Gilberto in the starting 11 who wouldn't get anywhere near starting at a top 6 club these days

Lehmann - the mad German. Average keeper

Piers - good at the time, would make an impact now but not a huge one.

Freddie Ljunberg - a squad player if he was in the current Tottenham team

Koulo Toure - pretty hopeless back then, a walking disaster now

Lauren - I don't even remember much about this dude

Campbell, Cole, Viera, Henry and Bergkamp are standouts in any era. But that's only five genuine worldies. No way that team would be coasting this league

Regardless, it's all speculation. I think they'd go undefeated two seasons in this league right now. Regardless, speculating on the best Premier League side of all time is disrespectful. No side in PL history is comparable to the Invincibles.

Only one PL team has the golden trophy  thanks for helping us remember fond memories WR.

This current Swansea side would finish top 6 in that era. Heck even our lasagne gate side would probably only be on par to Swansea and that was well after Arsenal were a force
