Rowell would be 2 first round picks. He doesn't have the baggage that Smith had and if you offered them Pick 17 for Rowell I suspect they would just let him walk to the draft because the draft picks mean less to them than to other teams like the Dogs who just had to roll over and accept our offer.

I think the perfect trade would be if he wanted to come to Richmond a straight out 1st rounder that comes in before the bid would suit the GC suns, But wouldnt think he considers another team in a rebuild after spending his entire career at a low team

neither Rowell or Reid excite me tbh, they aren’t the type of mids you build a club around. Maybe Harley is if he can get more of the pill but jury is out, too early.

GCS list is pretty stacked. Don’t think they can/need to pay him like other clubs would.

Not to mention they’ve had to overpay to keep players for a long time, so there would be guys there on inflated money.

They can't afford to lose Rowell 23 about to turn 24 just coming into his prime, more pressure will than come on Anderson and an old Touk Miller.

They won’t (or shouldn’t) hamstring themselves into not being able to pay all of their young upcoming guys in the next 3-4 years by paying too much to keep Rowell. Their midfield is excellent with or without him.
