Tash, were you posting here last year? North fans made a big deal out of others posting on their board and saying things about their team they did't like. Got quite abusive and personal.

Wouldn't you agree that if your fellow fans wish to be treated with respect on your clubs board that it might be a good idea to reciprocate when you post on someone else's?

And on your age, I've never made an issue of that. You may be younger and less mature than others here, but then there are those far older than you who have acted less maturely too.
I take what you say on face value and treat it accordingly.

It was your fellow Roos supporter michelle who kept bringing up your age, when people have a go at you she says give her a chance she is only 13, that is where the blame lies, if michelle hadn't have tried to make it an excuse for your bad manners, none of us would have known how old you.

Also, it is a rule of BF, made by Bluey, that these team boards are NOT for opposition fans to abuse other teams, we respect the Roos board & you should respect ours.

However, i fail to see how Tashi has been that? She was simply venting her feelings regarding your president's ill-informed poorly judged statements. I dont think she has said anything resembling personal attacks about you or your club.

I can understand the sensativity here, but when your Pres makes comments like he did, it is akin to declaring war on our club. I know he tried to dilute his message with hollow statements like "they deserve the chance to survive" but in the context of the rest of his sentiment, i think you can understand our anger and hurt, and how this has antagonised us and well and truly stired our pot.

I dont see the big problem with me coming over here and standin up for my club, and tellin u what I think of him.. because he has told the whole of Australia what he thinks of North and to a lesser extent the dogs.. so I came over here to tell essendon supporters what I think of there president.. and as he probably wont read it, it doesnt really matter now does it? Where as his comment will have been ready by 98% of the AFL supporting population..

Carlos/Tash, what was said last year wasn't a personal attack on anyone or their club either, but that didn't stop us from being hounded off the Nth board. As I've said, by all means stick up for your club and give McMahon whatever you want, but if you want to be treated with respect on your board then it might be a good idea to reciprocate on ours - in my opinion, coming here and saying McMahon with get his etc etc is fairly inflamatory given you'd expect us to stick up for our club that way you are for yours.

Mate, i never said we didnt have emotional, and at times, slightly irrational supporters. I wasn't privvy to what went on last year as i took a long spell from Bigfooty. But it doesnt suprise me. You only have to look at the general reaction (and i am one of the guiltiest) by us this week to realise we are a highly charged lot!!

All i am saying is that i still havent read anything on this thread that you could say is being personally attacking to your supporters or players or club in general. Tashi is just more or less saying that your Pres is an egotistical pig and should shut his mouth. Fair enough, you may or may not be inclined to defend his actions. Without meaning to be condescending, that is your right as a supporter of the club that this egomaniac is president of.

But can i draw a similarity between your president coming out and commenting in a public forum on topics which really have nothing to do with him (like our list management, the nature of our debt and our future) and us coming on your board and airing our anger and frustration when technically it has nothing really to do with your supporters or your club?

Quite true, last year I posted on their board and was told in quite
unfriendly terms to F- off as it was their board and they could say whatever they liked.

Mate no-one is saying that your feelings are necessarily unjustified, the issue is one of 'time & place'.

By all means, vent your spleen at the prez, essendon etc etc etc, but do it on the main board.

The club boards are for club supporters, and opposition supporters that treat them with respect.

I would not come onto your board to have a whinge about your club, I would only post there if I had something respectful to sy (as I did a a few weeks ago you may remember).

When tash, mighty mick et al come on OUR board and dribble at us, it's no wonder people get annoyed!

So, please leave ranting at us for the main board, cause I'm sure all of the other supporters want to have a go too y'know.

Fair enough. And i made my first real sojorn onto the main board yesterday courtesy of Cheeks McMahon. Its definately a mixed bag on there!!

For what its worth, i hate all your guts , but have attempted to practice diplomacy and respect, as i dont disagree with what you are all asserting regarding respect on opposition boards.
