No denials. He would slot in just nicely on the bench . Seriously, we'd take him in a heartbeat as another strong tall would be more than useful.

How about for Zac Beeck, Jeremy Humm, our fourth round pick and a box of Subi Burgers for your next sausage sizzle. If that's not enough, the supporter body will throw in Gunnar Longshanks as well. Don't say its not an attractive offer IP... (OK, the serious could only last so long).

But the offer of Gunnar almost did the trick... chuck in Frank (in purple overalls of course), UNIT and Luke Logan and I reckon we're almost there. You can keep Beeck and Humm, but the 4th rounder might come in handy. Warming to it....

Right at this point in time it would take a lot more than that to make me happy.

My team stringing together some wins (about 7 or 8 from the next couple of months should do it...) and jagging a spot in the finals would be closer to the mark.

However, we take any small victories in whatever forms they come. So you provided me with a brief flicker.

Make it vegie pasties (they do sell them at Subi you know - only discovered them this year... makes the whole "pie and sauce at the footy" thing do-able for a vego... except just that it's not a meat pie... it's a vegie pastie... so not really the same... just that it's got pastry and you can put sauce on it... but I digress)...
