he doesnt have any existing carry over points though, really that just was a bit of spirit shown, couldnt have hurt anyone, its good for the game, hopefully the tribunal give it what its worth a reprimand..

It was a jumper punch, but the photo in The Age shows McVeigh's fist making contact with Rivers' jaw.

You can see the impact.

Players aren't usually rubbed out for jumper punches, but the AFL should look at any incident.

With their record, the MRP will clear McVeigh and give him an all expenses paid vacation for wasting his time...

Why the hell would you have that quote as your signature? Surely you don't believe that? By having it there it implies you do believe it, and immediately makes people not take what you say seriously before they've even read what you've posted.

Ok so obviously your sig is about Carlton. Lets make direct comparisons.

When it says "without breaking the rules" you're obviously referring to the salary cap. Do you deny that Essendon themselves haven't breached the salary cap before? You guys were infact handed a record punishment at the time. So if you claim Carlton broke the rules, surely you have to then admit that Essendon too broke the rules?

Then the "buying champions" bit is clearly referring to our signing of Judd. Considering Essendon tried to sign Judd as well, how does that make you guys any different to us? We both wanted the same thing, only difference was that Judd chose our club over yours. Infact Essendon were the 3rd club (at best) that he wanted to go to.

For an Essendon supporter to be having that as their sig is probably the most hypocritical thing ive seen in a while. That sig relates just as much to Essendon as it does to Carlton.
