Great stuff, McVeighs!!! Judging by the way he's playing he's feeling pretty good about life. Should be feeling even better now. Will fly out of Sydney with mixed feelings but determined to bring back a win. And that feeling will be spread throughout the team. Expecting a huge game from the swans now.

Fantastic news. As a side note: we are not having much of a run on the future father-son picks!

Congratulations to the McVeighs. No idea how Macca was able to play so well in the last couple with this on his mind. Very professional and a great example to the team.

Is it any wonder that his improved performaces have coincided with the birth of his new child? The last couple of years would've been tough on he and his wife. Hopefully the huge weight has heen lifted and he can get back to his best both on and off the field.

I am really happy for the McVeigh family that the baby is healthy but i hate the name of the child because isn't "Lolita" the name of some child prostitute in a famous book?

Dont think she was a prostitute, just a child. But really, I dont think it should have been even mentioned here in that context. But for what it's worth, I think its a lovely name!

Well said, terrific effort.

Vladimir Nabokov wrote a book entitled Lolita about a man who becomes involved with a woman just so that he can get close to the daughter. It was controversial at the time but is considered one of the greatest works of fiction. It was llater made into a film with Jeremy Irons. Lolita was a perfectly innocent girl and besides, it's a really lovely name. Very feminine.
