Medhurst V Didak?

I know this is a very Collingwood centric question but I'd be interested on opposition supporters views on just who is the better player.

This year, Medhurst is more effective on the scoreboard, but if he didn't have Didak taking alot of the focus off him, he wouldn't be as effective. Both make each other better, overall you'd give the points to Didak for his better work in the midfield(though Medhurst is improving)

I will choose Medhurst , he hurts you more where it counts . The scoreboard . He was electric in that second half today , had an impact of a 6 ft 4 forward in the air .

didak by a mile, i'd have didak in my team, i wouldnt let medhurst cut up the oranges, he was woeful at freo but he has been better this year.

medhurst has suprised me and he has been a great pick up for collingwood and id be pretty sure he has suprised many with his marking ability
as for didak he would be the better player but still a ########

I realise you have deep seated reasons for having a poor opinion of Medhurst from his Freo days...but I think you are letting your hatred for them blind you to Medhurst's "dramatic" improvement this year.
He has 42 goals for the year at an average of 2.8 and is clearly Collingwood's best performing and most consistent forward. Cloke is next with 23 goals.
Totally apart from his goal kicking his goal assists, inside fifties and hard work around the ground, even in defense, have been outstanding.
It is in part because of Medder's efforts Didak is able to play a role through the centre more and more.
And you have to admit that Worsfold probably would let him do a little more than cut up the oranges.

before medhurst came to collingwood he wasn't worth spitting on.

frankly Tarrant has the talent to be a 800 plus goal career goal FF, and he's a joke now.

medhurst has responded well to micky milkshake and is emerging as one of the most damaging small forwards in the competition.

frankly i reckon didak should basically play off a wing or the centre with his skills and be a goal kicking midfielder and leave medhurst to crumb of the small forwards.

medhurst more effective in the F50.

leave didak in the midfield resting in the F50, and leave medhurst at HFF, FP with an occassional run in the midfield.

will be very annoying for opposition.

Tarrant's talent is overstated as a forward.

He would have been an elite wingman in the right team, but Collingwood needed a key forward and he was it - he was then pigeonholed there forever.
