Medhurst was never a dud - He was woefully coached and utilized at Fremantle. That said, you couldn't say for sure that Farmer might have had a similar turn-around in fortune if he went to a club with a decent culture and coach. Unfortunately, I think it's pretty undeniable that Freo's culture is in the toilet.Stupid poll to inflate your ego.
At the time of the Tarrant trade Medhurst was a dud and lucky to be on a list let alone put in for a trade, while Farmer was flying and playing good football.
Alot has happened in between then and up until 6 games ago Farmer would have still been the better player, but under a good coach Medhurst has come good, still will need to perform for the rest of the season and his career though, as Farmer has been a damn good player.

What is also undeniable is that they were full of rubbish when they were saying that Farmer and Medhurst couldn't fit in the same forward line, given that Medhurst is always sharing the forward line with 2/3 of Didak, Davis and Thomas.
Casting him aside as though he was worthless was right up there with the dud moves of Freo trading.

A bit un fair on Farmer as he is 30-31 now in the final stages of his career, where as Medhurst 25 is entering the Prime stage of his career.
