I hope we can increase the number here in Vic, I'm pretty sure in 2010 we had 300 or so vic members and around 100 of them in the Cheersquad. I'm hoping we can get more members here to join me and others, it's so hard for me to start up a good "freeeoo" chant during the games with only 30 or so fans behind the goals. (although I can sometimes hear myself on the tv I'm so loud)

I have convinced my gf who is an eagles supporter to jump ship and start following the purple army and I'm buying a membership 4 her next year with the Cheersquad upgrade so she can go to the games with me. Moreso when I travel for the interstate games she can come too. I'm planning to do all the games on the eastern seaboard in 2011!

It's a bitch with the price though
last year the vic membership was $144 and it's shot up to $175 and that only cover 3 games at Etihad and 3 at the G.

Can't see how playing the same amount of games in Melbourne has caused the price to shoot up 30 bucks... Maybe I'm doing my part to cover the cost of the development at Freo oval! I hope the price rise doesn't decrease our Melbourne based members...

I am there in the Squad too cheering away and making sure the mug opposition fans behave with all the kids in our group. Back again for another year in 2011.

Fremantle's membership peaked at more than 43,000 in 2007 and the club is in a position to break that record next season on the back of a semi-final appearance in 2010. As of early December, Fremantle was approaching 30,000 members, but the club has since required AFL help to process a flood of pre-Christmas applications and renewals.
