Merge or Move?

Aimed at supporters of Melbourne based clubs. (And no it's not a cheap shot at the Kangaroos)

If your side had to do one or the other which would you prefer?

Merge? You would get to see more of your team play, but it might lose some of its history.

Move? Stronger links to the past but with fewer opportunities to see your side play?

I think most realistic people can see that we need fewer sides in Melbourne. If the AFL side can’t get the Kangaroos to relocate to the Gold Coast maybe a new side should be formed and two sides in Melbourne should merge?

Anyway. Back to the question I guess I would go with Merge. But only just.

It would depend on where the club was moving to or who we would be merging with.

Seeing essendon play out of sydney or brisbane would be terrible, then again so would merging with a rival.

Yeah, I'd take the 3rd option and fold. Hasn't this poll been done before recently?
