I think we'd have to give you something back, two picks around 10 for Hurley is slight overs for mine (doubt you fall of a cliff). I'd be giving the likely Hibberd pick or next years 2nd across as well.
 
Surely this is where Richmond unlock the war chest and swoop to land their big fish! Missing link in their flag tilt.
 
Collingwood have no players worth even a empty bucket of chips and have no draft picks and what they do have is tied up in father sons and dont show they can improve more than the other teams around them. Saints, Melbourne, Carlton all have better potential for 2017 and beyond. Then you have Essendon with the players coming back and Freo will be back to normal and competitive with a clean slate. Gold Coast will naturally improve due to injured players coming back. Collingwood and Brisbane could be fighting it out for last next year.
Hurley will not go to Collingwood lol

Is it that bad though? It doesn't matter if you're buying a house or something at a flea market, if the price is negotiable you should never start off with your best offer. Expecting De Goey or Parish is a bit off, asking for them is understandable.

I think Hurley and Tarrent would be as strong a CHB and FB in the comp. I would not care if it cost us 2 picks around 10. He and Rance were the best key defenders last year and I would have Tarrent in the top 5 this year.

Build a premiership with defence 1st.

I completely agree, and I'm sure that's what Hine and Dodoro would do if they were negotiating. Do we really need that charade on Bigfooty though? lol

That's why picking the Pies would be a bad result - he could push for the get out of jail free card. They do have some very good young kids.

Hurley and Tarrant would be a ridiculously good combo, nearly as good as Hurley and Hooker.

But I think North also have to keep an eye on the future. If their quest for a premiership in the next couple of years fails then losing two top 10 picks could hurt a lot in the future. I just think you could ask for something back, which would be perfectly reasonable in my eyes.

They are 26 and 27 - good for at least 5 years as both have missed a lot of football. They are not 200 game CHB beaten and bashed for 10 years.

We have to do something different to stop the 7-10 finishes. Danger is a great example helping the Cats push back into the top 4.

We really don't know what we are dealing with until he decides.

He still may yet stay at the Bombers. I have no doubt Adrian will be trying to make that happen until the last few hours of the trade period - regardless of what anyone says - after all he is a contracted player.

if essendon aren't going to take our generous offer of blair and goldsack then hurley can just walk because of the whole drugs business. personally i think essendon will bottle it and take the deal. After all what we offering up two premiership players - that's more than reasonable especially since hurley has won 0 premierships.

Goldsack is finished and we don't need Blair when we have Howlett.

Too generous, can't be expected to trade premiership players for duds like Hurley!

We'll take some players that have also won 0 premierships like Treloar and Grundy instead.
