couldn't agree more. there were great signs all over the field today. the team seemed to play with a hunger which we haven't seen the first 3 rounds - might thank Juddy for that one. But yes Jamison really stood up today, let's hope he (and the blues) can back it up next week!!!

Is getting better each game this season - i will know he is back in form / confidence when he starts side-stepping opponents when he is about to kick. He is very good at this evasive step.

In this game he also became the games record holder with 38 games, Jimmy Plunkett previously held this with 37.

I posted this in the review thread. That's the second time I have heard Lloyd praise Jamo in this way. He is still a very underrated defender in AFL circles but he will become (if not already) one of the best FBs in the league.

Very true. In recent seasons either Bower, Thornton or Waite have been given the job on the stronger, power forwards. Jamo's performance on Mooney demonstrated he is also up to the job on those forwards.

Great to hear Lloyd give Jamo some recognition. You hear the media wax lyrical about Pears, Frawley, North's Thompson & so on, while Jamo goes about his business week in & week out & gets few accolades for the job he does. Jamo is developing into a very good defender.

his game almost made me feel sorry for mooney, has to be humiliating taken out of the geelong forward line and then put on setanta (and then setanta kicking a goal on him). mooney had a dirty day, totally bent over by jamo.
