PSD picks are determined by whether you decide to pass or not on your final Nat Draft pick. If you pass on your final selection, it then gets used in the PSD. The PSD order is the reverse order of this seasons AFL premiership ladder. The ONLY thing that changes this order is if teams decide to use their final pick in the Nat Draft and therefore elect not to have a PSD pick.

so the order is set in stone , period?

Only way the PSD order changes is if teams fill up their senior list prior to the PSD and therefore have no PSD picks.

From foxsports:

DEES DIG DEEP IN CLARK BID
The Herald Sun is reporting that Melbourne have offered Brisbane Lions big man Mitch Clark a four-year deal worth up to $800,000 a season. The Dees have put pick 12 on the table and may include one of the compensation picks received for Tom Scully's departure to satisfy the Lions. No word as yet from the Clark camp as to whether he's willing to give up hope of returning to WA.

Melbourne can have him for that.

Yeah, I'm getting sick of this. Brisbane are being greedy little w***ers for a guy who has yet to prove he is an elite player.

 They have completely lost it. I hope they deal just for the lols :o

Am I right in vaguely recalling Clark turned down to GWS money for the opportunity to come home? If so, why would this tempt him?

If that's the deal, Melbourne can have him. Crazy.

Was about to post the same thing but you beat me to it.

Simply cannot believe what Melbourne are offering. Have they gone completely mad? If thats what it takes to get him, then Melbourne are welcome to him. That has to be at least double his actual real value imo.

I don't think he cares about the money, but I think Brisbane care about the picks.

Idiots! That's G.Ablett/C.Judd money...

Young just said WC has never been in the picture. Mitch is having a think about the Melbourne offer - which was unexpected - but is hopeful that Fremantle will still get the job done.

If he is happy to go to Melbourne we should probably move on. this is going to get very expensive, unless he says either way he is going into the PSD

Apologies if this has been done but what about:

Forget Clark, turn Griff into your big FF and take Bower and 44 off our hands for 38 and maybe Roberton.

Reckon you need to keep 16 and 20 and get some decent kids for the future.

Agreed. He's not worth 800k a year and if Melbourne want to throw all that money away, then that's their fault.

Can someone link me to where Young is talking? Or is he just on the AFL trade talk radio?

EDIT: Nevermind

Young is saying that Freo are his only choice as far as coming home is concerned.
WC were never in the mix.
Melbournes offer , which has come out of left field , is now something that he is going to have to think about.
In saying that Freo is by far & away his first preference.
