Gardner, Encarnacion and Sanchez have produced nothing in this series so far. This is getting ugly for the Yankees. They have had chances - a massive hole in the middle of the order is killing them.

Yankees fans savage
Yep, big hitting normally goes missing come playoffsSame old problems.
Big hitting wins regular season games, pitching wins playoffs. Our roster is pathetic and another failed season because the pathetic management won’t spend money on assembling a decent pitching roster.
Who cares about any salary cap, just go out and buy the best pitchers available at whatever cost

This is statistically a myth, big hitting sides don’t do worse than the alternative in playoffs.Yep, big hitting normally goes missing come playoffs

49,000 there tonight. Lots of people don’t like Yankees sure, more probably do and drawing a crowd has never been a problem. Currently have some of their best youth that stacks up pretty well in team history in Judge and Torres so I think that misses the mark as well.Ha. NYY fans showing their true class. Only stick around when the team does well. No wonder why apart from their fans, everyone dislikes them.
Sacrificed their rebuild for a overpaying players
This has absolutely been the issue in the playoffs. Encarnacion gone missing and Stanton didn’t fare any better as the DH tonight. Sanchez aside from a solid hit in a game already lost yesterday has been woeful and was terrible tonight. Gardner needs to go back to being a player that works a count and not a hitter. Ultimately this will be why Houston almost certainly clinches the series on the weekend.Gardner, Encarnacion and Sanchez have produced nothing in this series so far.
