Re: PAFC iPhone Covers

Mates rates? (even though I refuse to own a iPhone)

Yeah definitely, will do like 50% off for BigFooty Friends and Family.

I hate the things aswell to be honest haha.

Dont really want to advertise here though as I may get in troublez :(.

Sounds like a common thing, a mate has an iphone repair business too.... yet recommends android phones to his friends :)

Yep, (Though I do also do other phones)

Build quality is horrible in the iClones.

Windows Phone 7 ftw.

Re: PAFC iPhone Covers

I havent had a single issue with my iphone and ive had it for 12 months. Most reliable phone ive had!

EDIT: And im not an applephile either

Re: PAFC iPhone Covers

My iPhone had been fine. Does everything I want it to do. Next contract I might go for something different for the sake of a change.

iPhone's are easy to jailbreak. = any app you want for free :)

I'm an IT Manager and our group road tests all sorts of phones, etc (we have about 120 distributed to our employees). Some of the new androids we have had to dismiss as they are not 'field' quality (not at all robust for business/field workers).

I'm not an Applephile either, but got an iPhone from work about 18months ago as that is what we went with. Have not had a single problem with them yet so no regrets, althought we put a decent hardcase on them. Have just upgraded to the 4S. Better volume and reception. Also have had an iPad from work. It's OK especially for travel. Bought my son one for Christmas. He loves it. The 'Find My iPhone/iPad' function is very good. He was amazed when I showed him I knew exactly where his unit was.

Hate Apples controlling nature though, although there are ways to get around that without having to jailbreak them.

TSW, PM me your business contact details just in case we need some repairs. They're bound to be needed some time. Cheers.

I'm usually anti-apple but decided to get the iPhone4 when it came out and it has been a terrific phone so far. My other half got a galaxy s a while back so I'm fairly familiar with Android and IOS systems.

For now I'm happy with IOS even if it doesn't have swype. IOS does everything I need it to - it just works and it's simple. I guess it's the little things that make the difference for me. For example, if I want to turn on 3G on IOS, I just turn it on (and there's even a little description under the switch). On Android to turn on 3G you need to fish through the network settings and tick "turn on packet data".

We also just came back from overseas, while over there my iPhone worked fine but my missus' Galaxy S literally shat itself - all the settings were erased, messages gone, some functions totally missing and even now she can't receive calls on it. Luckily she wasn't overseas on her own with that phone.
