I just saw an ad for Chanell 10 news saying there is another Crow wanting to move while showing footage of Ian Perrie?!?
Anyone know anything?
He better not want to leave after he had finally convinced me he is worth keeping, because what I think is important and everything :p
is he a west aussie aswell?

Use him as a tall defender, Didnt we try it at some stage this year?
You guys need a tall defender and if you dont mind mediocrity (sp?) then Perrie is your man :D

Tough call. Swap Carroll for him - one of us might strike it lucky.

Crickey!!!!!!

He might not be the best footballer around the place but I think we actually need him to play CHF while the likes of Hentschel, Watts and Krueger develop.

I think we could be screwed:(

Yeah, think how many of our wins this year were with Sarge playing CHF. We can build a forward line around Sarge unlike anyone, except probably Kenny (who is needed in defence).

Yes but we can't build a premiership team around him.
Have great admiration for the guy and very happy to keep him, but if we can do a good trade, I say for the long term benefit - do it!

Well the Sandgropers we have here are:

Stinger (who is going back)
Sarge
A. Parker
S. Stevens

So there's really only another three it could be, and out of those three I would say it was Sarge.

It wouldn't surprise me if Sarge was a little p..... off at being left at Noth Adelaide for so long.
I think there will be some strong demand for him, particularly from Bulldogs, and Geelong.
His value will deteriorate as his age goes up, he's had a good finish to the season - if we can get another high draft pick, despite short term pain, and lets remember we were able to do without him for most of this season, lets do a deal.

Actually i thought we played oue best games with Perrie at chf.

Perrie & Stenglein for Waters & Seaby, seems like a fair trade to me. :)

Agree with Wayne's World. Perrie's last month has been excellent - and I would keep him on as our first choice CHF - but if we could get a could deal for him then we should consider it. Remember everyone, Sarge isn't exactly an icon of consistency.

I heard that Sarge is looking to leave Adelaide but not to go back to WA but move to Melbourne to look for a better night life.

Pez had a tough year especially while Ayres was still around. If it's true then I hope they convince him to stay cause he is definitely are best CHF option for the next 1-2 years.

have heard perrie definitely wants out of the crows...
methinks we should accommodate him, given his last month has raised his trade value to a level it probably won't reach again...

Carpe diem
His good points don't outweigh his bad points unfortunatley and it's very frustrating to watch and wonder what sort of game he will play today or whether he gets a game at all. I agree that he's probably the best choice left other than Ken but that's just an indictment on the club for not recruiting better. Craig has the opportunity to start with a clean slate and if Perrie fits the new mould then so be it, if not then let him and the club look for opportunities elsewhere.
By the way, are you the original Fred Phillis?

i rekon he wil be a part of the stinger deal and it will see us get a 1st n 2nd round pick n a player for our 2nd or 3rd round pick and the two crows players!!
