Most Confusing Team Ever!

This is not at all meant as a troll.
Congratulations on a pretty damn good win, nobody really expected you to win that, what with Geelong being in great form and you guys just coming off from an unexpected loss to Hawthorn.

I would have to say that Freo are the most astounding team ever - astoundingly poor some weeks, astoundingly amazing other weeks. When you play like you did against Melbourne, the Pies, and Geelong today, you look like you can beat any other team. But when you lost to the Bombers, Richmond, Hawthorn etc, I have difficulty believing it is the same team!
I guess your inconsistencies must make it hard for you to know where your teams at - some weeks you look like you're playing premiership level, other weeks, rather wooden-spoonish.

So from a very confused poster who supports the mob up the road, where do you guys realistically see your team headed this year? Top 4? 8? Lower? I personally can't work it out, and you've sure buggered up my tipping this year

I agree most confusing season so far. I've been saying fourth all year but to be honest after last week i wasn't sure. Now i'm more hopeful. Depending on injuries and form i predict between 4th and 6th.

This won't be our last upset win for the season.

I know where your coming from. I am to been amazed by this team I love. What can you say , just what can you say , we can all debate agree on something Freo will do the opposite & yet perform another miracle. The way we are going this year , I will be happy to finish 8th on the table play our final/s and watch our opposition get nervous about our visit

IF Freo can win enough games to qualify for the finals this year, then I think they can cause some damage. I said at 4-4 after 8 rounds that we'd probably get to 7-7 with home games against Hawthorn, Brissy and Kangaroos and away games against Geelong, Sydney and Adelaide. Well that could likely happen, just not the way I'd imagined it...

I should be elated but I'm not - I'm peeved! I can't for the live of me understand why we were able to win against the Cats, while last week we got thumped at home by one of the bottom sides. Its just so bloody frustrating.

I agree that we are a 6-10 side (on talent we should be top four). Thought so at the start at of the year and I think so now.

However we have every chance of finishing in the top four. We aren't the most consistent side, but then again no teams (bar West Coast) are.

As a Freo fan it is of utmost importance to retain a sense of humour. Unfortunately the bipolar disorder displayed by our team sorely tests the ability to do this.

Lithium may just be the answer we are after - although after the caffeine furore it may not be advisable at this point in time.

Dacking the reigning premiers to the tune of 117 points is a case in point.

Watching Quentin Lynch try to take a chest mark is also pretty wacky - you can hear the Benny Hill music every time it goes forward.

Roos... 5 weeks up, 4 weeks down the beat the Lions in Brissy?
Adelaide, Lose to Melb away, Bris at home, then thump the Saints away and only just bear the Blues at home.
Melbourne... thump Gee, get thumped by St Kilda, beat Sydney, get beaten by Freo, beat Adelaide then get beaten by Hawthorn, then just beat Carlton and thump Richmond!

I think the only consistant team are the umpires..they are awful all the time!
