Music Board Bullies??

I used that as one example from one morning from a few weeks back.
I guess I can't comment as to JJJ as I have not listened to it but ZZZ is subscriber based and run by volunteers who have free run as to what they select though in the evenings they have specialist shows. Nothing But The Blues, Punk Show, Hell Metal (not sure what that is about) for example. I tend to listen to the NZ show on a Tuesday night as I have a huge admiration of the very good but unknown scene there.

I reckon you might like it.

Sounds like 3D Radio in Adelaide. I don't listen to it much, but they do have blues night and metal shows,and play other stuff that i don't hear anywhere else, even on JJJ. I hate it when they play some godly song and then i miss the title/band, or they don't even say who it was, never to be heard of again! Hate that with a passion

3D seems to sound similar. They even have an Anarchy show on Zed.

I hate it when there is some song that catches my attention and they play another 5 songs in a row and I forget to listen to the announcer. Praise be to Apollo they have the playlists on the web site nowadays.

I post here on-and-off but occassionally when I visit there seems to be a crew of posters belittling the naive fools who seem to think it's ok to tread in the open waters of the music board, to have their spirits crushed. I am fortunately not one of those people because I dont speak out enought in this board to get trodden on, but (in the main - not all of you) it seems that these are the fans of hardcore, metal and indie music genres. Not everyone likes that stuff either, I'm not a huge fan but I dont mind it, and this post may seem like I'm a fence-sitter as well but I'm just sticking up for the little guy.

This is just a rant and it's probably meaningless but this board would be a lot more Newbie-friendly if all posts wern't shut down by the group of posters.

Perhaps the difference is there are those who just listen to music and those who look a bit deeper into how it came about.

I see a thread on here about The Veronica's for example. I would not know a song of theirs if I fell over it but some seem to get their knickers in a knot as to how bad they are. They are? Then why listen. Once after that initial listen and you have discovered that you are not interested give them a miss. I don't see how hard this is. Still what would I know? (as I march of to a psychoanalysis)

It can get frustrating when crap (subjective!) music is constantly shoved down your throat. For example, hearing Fallout Boy during every channel 10 ad break throughout August/September.

I wouldn't have any issue whatsover with these sorts of bands who I consider to be crap if they weren't constantly played ad nausem. So if someone were to start a thread:

It's because they have poor taste in music. They deserve it when talking up panic at discos and rihannas.
