This game is a MUST win! The pies cannot afford to lose this game and undo all the good work they accomplished against the Swans.

They have an "easier" run home than the swans and if they beat the Crows they will set themselves up for Top 4 finish.

The pies have lost too many games this year that they should have won after building up good leads...

Adelaide coming of 3 straight loses will not be easy...

Yep, totally agree. We beat Adelaide and it will ensure we stay well ahead of the pack, and we give ourselves a very good chance of making the top 4. Sydneys final 8 games are against 6 current top 8 sides, as well as Carlton in 9th. If we win around 5-6 at least of our next 8 games then we are an extremely good chance to make top 4.

I know I'm looking a bit far ahead, but thats the reality of it. Adelaide are a very tough side to beat, and they'll be hell bent themselves on getting a win after their recent stutter.

It is a must win. We are still under significant pressure from the clubs underneath us on the ladder and a top 8 spot, let alone a top 4 spot, is not guaranteed. We need to win the games we should win, we should win this game going on current form and I will be extremly disappointed if we don't. Games like this one, the games against Essendon, Fremantle, North, Saints, Port and Sydney are all games that we MUST win (so basically all of our remaining games except for Hawthorn), we can't pull a Collingwood and lose the games we should win. It has cost us both last year and in 2006, hopefully we have learnt from our mistakes.

Regardless of any result against Sydney, I think we have to beat Hawthorn anyway.
We know we can beat The Bulldogs.
We have beaten the Cats.
We have beaten the Swans.

The Hawks are the odd one out and nothing is better in a final than knowing you have beaten a side recently. It guarantees nothing but is very important for confidence.
