My Brownlow Summary

i did a massive thread on the main board about the brownlow and who had won in my view and who had all the votes from different clubs etc so have a look when ya can

i know there is a thread on joel corey to win the brownlow this season but after my summation i did which took a week i rekon, i had joel corey on 27 votes to win the brownlow from jimmy bartel on 24 votes and gary ablett down further on 19 votes equal 9th. Now i know thats not going to be right and come brownlow night some of coreys votes will probably go onto abletts tally but get on Joel Corey Each Way!!! his stats say so aswell.

Joel would be a worthy winner and should poll better than last year because umpires are now more aware of his efforts and status. But his work is often not as flashy/'obvious' as other players so I doubt he'll win. Wouldn't surprise to see a tie between Jimmy and Gary.

Joel Corey was in a similar possie last year. The highest possession getter in the league yet only polled 12 votes in the brownlow. I agree he has had a terrific year this year and we of course voted him our MVP which is a high honor IMO. But Joel plays alot as an outside midfielder which I think is what counts against him in regards to getting Brownlow votes.

i would get on joel corey to finish top 5 anyway and yes i agree i think ablett and bartel will dominate it but corey not only won our disposal count, he won our tackle count and had numerous amounts of clearances.
