I've heard people say it's a domestic Aussie match, or it was taken in South Africa in 1994, and now that it was taken in NZ last year.

Obviously a lot of people talk $hit, but who is the one doing it.

Check out this other thread that I posted in another forum as well.

First of all.... it was taken in South Africa.
You can tell because of the 'Castle Lager' advert on the boundary fence.

And I think it's Shane Warne, probably in a match against a South African provincial side.

It's Warney and I can confirm why:

1) it is in South Africa as said by Espirito with the Castle Lager sign.
2) Can't be Elliot because the nose is way to small
3) Can't be Hayden because he just ain't tall enough, Hayden is a big bloke height wise.
4) the sunglasses on top of the hat is a bowlers trademark, batsmen have no need to remove sunnies.

I tis also the 1994 tour when Warne was probably at the height of his popularity I'm not sure on the ground but if you look at it you'll realise it is not Australia because of the proximity of grass to the fence.

It's not warney.

It's Matty Hayden

if you were there you'd know it was warney.

Nic said "why doesn't someone email baggy green and ask them?"

It surely must be Matthew Hayden. You can tell by the chin. Hayden only has 1 chin, while Warney up to 3 or 4 months ago had 2 chins.

Its mike Kasporvitch from Queensland.

I work at the Vic Cricket Association and a number of people say thats who it is.

A lot of people say that they know who it is because they saw it in the paper, or they saw it on TV, or in the above thread, they work somewhere, and that is why they know the TRUTH!

The thing is all these stories contradict each other, so most of you are talking $hit.

I sent this off to Sams Mailbag on The Footy Show, and hopefully he will be able ask Warney himself, or do some of his own detective work, to find out who it is.

I reckon its Kasprowicz myself

I don't know its just my view

I don't think its Warne because

1) face isn't the same

2) body isn't the smae

and most importantly

3) Warne wears cut off sleeves to free up his bowling arm. Both of those sleeves are normal sleeves.

Just my view

jesus (sorry. no offence dude) but you people will never be happy until you are all right. I never EVER said i thought it was warney, all i said was that i asked baggy green and they said it was warney. okay. i think they'd no, but u go on being right.

The ACB Public Affairs department don't know what day it is, either. Last time I saw a game from the WACA, they never had old wooden seats like that, it's all individual plastic seating now. Can't remember who posted it now, but you can make out the 'Castle Lager' sign in the background, which makes it in South Africa.

Anyway it's beside the point, I was one who originally thought it wasn't Warney, now I think it is. It's all in the ears, if you see a pic of him from side-on, the shape of the ears match. A persons ears are like fingerprints, they are unique to all of us.

no matter if we got warney on here saying it was him. they wouldn't believe him they have to be right.
