Name your test 12

if we had quota's like south africa etc in the past and had to pick 2 players from each state to form a test squad of 12 how would your side look?

it must be a balanced side too.

just goes to show how hard it'd be and what quality players would be left out.

from the current test team out went : watson, haddin, hauritz & north.
for me m hussey/north was a tough one because i wanted to keep johnson.
i also kept hilfy but could've easily gone for a varied attack and thrown in krejza. not easy!

Very hard to find 2 from QLD or SA, threw in Bailey as the spinner, if not for injury I would replace Hopes with Ferguson and throw in Hartley as keeper

A system like that would see alot of movement between states, no longer would everyone want to play for NSW but probably head to SA or Tassie even, would make the states alot more even but on the downside states who have strong development systems would lose players they invest heavily in

North, Johnson, Voges, Marsh, Ronchi, Nofke, Pomersbach are all capable of playing International cricket

No they could not, especially Ronchi and Noffke. Neither will ever play for Australia again. Lets not pretend otherwise but Noffke is just about done and dusted as a player. WA s as bad as QLD right now, and frankly I have more faith in QLD's side moving forward as they have a better crop of bowlers.

Gotta include Dorey then since he played a handful of ODI's and while we're at it why not bring in Magoffin - Dunno how old he is but he could play for Australia if needed to.

Looking at all these players on paper it's hard to believe that we're such a poor team at the moment
