Played the demo yesterday, it's the same old 2k shit. There were NO notable differences from 2k10, not even any writing/talking explaining what new stuff they've included. The only thing I noticed were new game intros, which were corny as **** (5 guys standing in a line looking at the camera with their arms crossed and heads tilted).
2k is unplayable for me. If you want to move left, you'll have to wait 5 seconds while the player you're "controlling" goes through an unnecessarily complex dribble animation before getting stuck to the defender and running with him for 3-4 steps. Want to grab a rebound? Well looks like you'll have to wait 2 seconds before your player actually jumps, and if you time it right, he might even fumble the ball instead of grabbing it...
The fact that people are ejaculating over a virtual Jordan is cringe-worthy. Unless this virtual Jordan is also an expert game programmer he's useless.

The features for this game are unlike any other basketball game ever, thats why people are excited.
Seem like a Live fan, i played Live once, was gonna play it again, but decided to go poo my pants instead. Very happy with my choice.

Howard 10-12th best? Rondo too high, ditto Collison and Monta. Iggy also a bit high. Lopez could be higher. Ariza ahead of Bynum, Aldridge, Parker, Love? Also think they're a bit harsh on Udrih and Hawes at 66.
Swing and a miss there mate, haven't owned a Live game since 04. Made the switch to 2k when I got the Ben Wallace endorsed 2k5. Last game I enjoyed was 2k8.
Doesn't look like I'll be making the switch back to "Elite" either though, they removed the turbo button FFS
Yeah to the untrained eye it looks like I'm a "Live Fan" but to the eye that has brains it's just neutral criticism of the game.
Again, not sure why it matters what other games I'm into (btw not Madden)
Like that would be relevant anyway.I agree that the features and all that are enticing, (I saw that now the teams and not just players will have a "personality" that will dictate the type of roster moves they make, e.g. rebuilding - they'll look to acquire younger players and let their higher skilled old guys go cheap etc.). And this is all well and good, but if I can't happily play through one game I doubt I'll be able to go season after season where I'll actually be able to use this mode.
