Playing My Player, drafted by Bobcats but traded to Bulls with Augustine for Noah. Made it to the playoffs and made the starting lineup. Played well in playoffs averaging 28 PPG and hitting a series winning 3 against Miami.

Playing game 7 of Finals Vs Warriors and we are up by 2pts, they have the ball only 15 seconds left, guarding Ellis as he takes a buzzer beater to send it to OT and I block it, winning the title and possibly the Finals MVP when just after the game finishes it freezes!!!!!!!

Had to replay the game and won again comfortably but saved and exited the game with only 20 sec remaining incase it freezes again and guess what, it did!!! Did some research and apparently it's q glitch in the game, turning off Autosave apparently fixes it, not happy though!!!

Great game but annoying no one seems to bring out a finished game anymore, 2k games would suck with no patches!!!
 
Love this game yet there are plenty of times i just want to snap the disc in millions of little pieces. Passing annoys the living shit out of me, way too many turnovers in this game and too many passes traveling slow motion like.

Other things that grate my cheese are objectives/goals in MP mode, not the fact we have them but i swear the game has rigged it so you fail more often than not.
For example you get the objective before the game 'commit 4 or less turnovers', and every time my player will go out and give up over 4 turnovers in the first qtr, or shoot 43% from the field or 3pt land, every open shot misses or my favorite 'dish out 11 assists', well i would love to if 1) my team mates didn't all of sudden become incapable of making simple baskets and 2) the game actually counted assists as assists. Too many times i have dished out assists to team mates who make the basket only to not be given an assist wtf 2k.

But i still love the game.

Its not just that, its the animations and the ball traveling way too slow. I can pass to a guy on the wing who is open but because of these animations im forced to watch the defender magically get his hands on the ball or you pass it to a guy a 2 meters away and the ball ends up going over his head etc .

It's pretty hard to not make silly passes when you have no control of the direction your passing unless using icon pass, and icon pass can be just as bad.

Maybe you're just not that good? I haven't had any of these problems in My Player.
 
Has anyone been able to download anything for the game? I'm going to try and upload my gamesliders (tried to copy the sliders from NBA2K11 I was using). Fairly realistic, low scoring games. I love the Offensive post button controls.

However, how come there's no Offensive Post development drill?

I'm developing Tyrus Thomas, he's a monster on the Def Post and Rebounding and damn good Perimeter D, but I can't increase his Offensive Post rating.

And that REALLY annoys me!

As for the Bobcats, I traded Maggette and Diaw when a good trade came up : )

Could be your internet connection? What's your setup? Speeds? Do you use a router which you can login to and fix your NAT settings to open the connection for your console/PC?

The assist objectives annoy me in 2k12. Quite often I'll pass to the CPU and they're open for a good shot. Instead they hold onto the ball, use an iso-move, pump fake and then shoot when the defence has collapsed in on them.

But, you're on your own with the turnovers complaint. Sounds like you're trying to play 2k12 as though it's NBA Live. My Player is only rated 66 with a passing rating of 80. It makes sense that if I try and get too fancy and move the ball too quickly, it gets picked off. You gotta slow down, run the plays and pass the ball to someone in a better position. You're not always going to get the assist and when I play to try and get assists, I turn it over.

I'm with you on the open shooting as well. I'm a 3-point specialist and lately, I've been missing wide-open threes. So I've stopped shooting them and am trying to just take mid-range jumpers. It's realistic that I don't bury every 3-point shot but it is annoying that I'll miss a wide open A release shot and then make a contested B- minus shot. Or worse, C shot.

Has anyone managed to get an A+ release while playing a game? Best I've managed is A.

I know what your saying and your spot on, but what im saying is that without fail every time i will concede the most turnovers when i get the objectives like 'commit 4 or less turnovers' i can guarantee i will fail every time by the end of the 1st qtr, and its silly turnovers as well that i have no control over. If i dont have any turnover objectives i will probably only turn it over 3 or 4 times a game and im fine with that.
 
Loving the game so far. Have only played My career so far and just got my first BOG after about 12 games with a career high 23 points lol. Avg about 11-15 points a game. Agree the assist part of the game could use some work. I also find i pass the ball to a player in loads of space only for him to fail to shoot or goes for a lay up. Also the amount of times they miss the shot's is also annoying lol.

From what ive read, and experienced, its the 2K servers. They are shit house at the moment..Everyone is getting the massive lag and only on a rare occasion do games finish with out someone dropping out because of it.

Check to see if you can download anything again. I downloaded an updated roster which includes rookies. I've got Kemba Walker as starting PG (DJ Augustine will be pissed hah hah) and that Bismack dude is in there as well, going to develop him to a moster shot blocker, post defender and rebounder. He is 3 qtrs there already.

Upgraded Bobcats has plenty of mid range shooters, Augustine, Walker, Diaw, Henderson. Love the pick and roll and dish to one of the above shooters. SWISH!

Downloaded most popular game sliders as well. NOW I can enjoy the game more.

I deliberately bought it on PS3 because last year there was no-one who owned it on 360 and now this year no-one's doing PS3 associations.

I think its more the servers are ****ed rather than no1 playing.

There has been one mentioned in this thread quite a few times already.

We have already started though. You can still join up and play though. There is about 15-20 of us in it.
