Was wondering why there had been no posts on the week1 thread today!

Some great games on today.

My picks are:
Phoenix v New Jersey - Phoenix by 13 points
Boston v Houston - Houston by 5 points
Dallas v San Antonio - Dallas by 3 points

ive got the vibe that the rockets are going to thrash the celtics today

they will be very tough to beat until inevitably Yao goes down with a foot injury and misses 2 months

What would be the result have to be for it to be a thrashing? I think the Rockets will win as they are fit at the moment (when will Artest lose it?) and at home but I doubt it will be a thrashing.

pretty happy,sounds like he is adjusting to our system well,but it would be daunting for a player going from Washington to San Antone where you actually have to play a bit of D.if he can keep averaging over 10 it will help immensly when manu gets back

I think he has been a solid addition to the rotation and he is doing all that is required of him. Hes not really a player that is going to win you games though.

I am unsure why Salim Stoudamire isnt seeing any minutes though? I thought he would have been handy about now.



Also, how about Phoenix's shooting? 70% at the end of the 3rd quarter. Not a bad effort at all.
