Ownership seems happy to wear the financial disaster of it all.

I see the team as having a few tradeable assets though in Mann, Powell and Zubac if they are desperate for draft picks still . Wouldnt surprise me if they look to trade Mann for a bundle of picks if things go awry and they want to draft a bit

But none of those players are getting a significant return. So selling the rest of your rotation for a few average picks when paying 100+ mil for Kawhi, PG and Harden makes no sense.

They can’t rebuild, they can’t contend. If they are happy just being a mediocre 40+ win team for the next 3 years before those 3 drop right off and they are stuck trying to rebuild with no picks then good luck to them.
