If his personal issues are behind him then he could have a big season. Big if though.

Blanchfield wasn't used properly in the United offense IMO. Just stood in the corner most of the game shooting 3's. Because of Ware and Goulding hogging the ball every possession he wasn't able to showcase his offensive skills. Hopefully things are different at the Kings. When he was at the Crocs he was fantastic in 14/15 because he wasn't playing with ball hogs.
Agree to an extent but those two guys often got him a ton of open looks from 3 and he couldn't convert often enough. He'll be coming off the bench with the Kings though?

Probably. Talk that he could play the 2 spot over Cadee but Gaze is in love with Cadee so I doubt it.

Probably just wanting a big pay day, as he deserves

Foxsports.com.au had an article yesterday suggesting other NBL clubs had talked to him, but couldn't offer the $$ he was looking for.

Didn't watch too much NBL this season, what are everyone's thoughts on NBA prospect Terrance Ferguson? Seems to be jumping up draft boards as a smokey selection. Just wondering how you think he will go making the jump between the leagues?

He's still raw and struggled at times last season with consistency but he's still a kid so that's expected. Has some brilliant athletic abilities and is a good defender. Still has a lot to work on but he will keep improving. I personally don't think he's NBA ready yet but we'll see.

Long term player, excellent height, Good spot up shooter, pretty one dimensional, However that length, ability to spot up shoot and doesn't force anything. Not sure where he should go however. Hard to judge His Length and athletism alone made him a damn good defender.

I wouldn't exactly call him a 'good' defender. He certainly tried hard and never let up when he was out there, and I spose you need to expect some mistakes from a rookie, but he did pretty regularly get himself into trouble on that end by being overaggressive and ending up out of position. Part of that was him trying to make up for being skinnier than his man in most match-ups, but there were definitely some just plain dumb decisions he would make every game on D.

But he showed the potential to be a decent 3 and D type player, and he at times looked pretty smooth offensively, so could probably add a couple of moves to go along with the shooting without too much trouble. Just don't expect too much anytime soon.

Reported that Corey Webster will not play for Perth next season so that he can pursue an overseas contract.

On the other side of the coin, Bryce Cotton might turn down an overseas contract to come back to Perth.

I'm ok with that. Cotton is much better.
Sources? Certainly happy with the latter news. If true, and we get a full preseason into him.....watch out!

Also, Cotton highlights.

btw that was from last years Summer League. He's actually only scored a total of 6 points on 11% shooting in his 4 SL games this year. Stinking it up which is good news for Perth and the NBL. It'll lower his value and interest from European sides meaning the Wildcats could have a better chance of signing him.

I did not know that.

Now I feel sort of bad posting the video.

haha yeah the video title/upload date is pretty misleading, I saw it the other day when it was first posted on Youtube and thought the same thing. I then realised something was off when I saw his SL stats and noticed that the title said 'July 10' even though it was posted on July 5th 2017 lol.

Bryce not confirmed

This is starting to look pretty likely now. Highly doubt Lachie would post a tweet saying "LOCK IT IN" with out knowing something, he's one of the most reliable sources when it comes to Wildcats updates.

I'm getting pretty excited :D lol
