I think the Saints will win comfortably in a relatively low scoring game. They'll win by 4-6 goals.

Even as a Saints fan I think it would be quite good for footy to see them get up today.

I won't exactly be barracking for them but I won't be too upset to lose to them either.

I don't mind Freo normally and against most other teams I'd probably be barracking for them but not today. I want to win this game as much as I want to win any game and win it well.

the whole no Kosi No Roo thing doesnt do much for me. Saints have shown in the past that they're still bloody good without them. In a similar fashion, Freo's win/loss ratio isnt that bad with when Pav has missed games.

Other players step up and teams are a lot less predictable without their gun forwards. Plus the saints kicka a lot from their midfield.

Saints have already crushed freo once this year (all be it the pre-season)

I think I heard/read somewhere this week that the Saints haven't played a game without one of Roo/Kosi since 2005?

But I agree, they will still be very hard to beat at Etihad without the pair.

yeh its been ages since they've been without both, but recently when they've been without Riewoldt they've done well.

I dont believe Kosi is that huge a loss for them, riewoldt is the main one, but still they've shown they can win well without him

I'm somewhat conflicted about this particular game.

I've had a soft spot for the Dockers since they came into the competition back in 1995, and have followed their ups and downs from a distance over the past 15 years. If there's any other team that I want to win and be successful besides my own, it's the Dockers.

However, this week I've tipped St Kilda, simply because I think they're a better side (even with their outs), and if the Dockers get up, it'll spoil what has so far been a perfect weekend of tipping for me (Geelong up by 81 points about 7 minutes into the last quarter, and obviously won't be headed). I can't remember when I've ever tipped 8 from 8 (got 7 plenty of times), and it'd be good if it happened this week, as there were a few games that on paper could have gone either way before the round and were subsequently difficult to tip.

Not exactly neutral, but carn freo.

Saints form isn't reliant on the players they are missing.
Saints should win this one and by form, all form teams have won this week, Saints have the best form in the league coming into this game but Freos is more difficult to gauge with their low possession to goal efficiency.
It's nice to have such a dominant clearance players like sandilands and pav when he's in there, it takes a lot of pressure off their possession maintainance.

Fremantle really has been a pleasant surprise. They play an enjoyable style of football to watch. I honestly cannot remember the last time I could say that of Fremantle. Perhaps Harvs was right after all and they might be a little closer than what we all thought.
