surely not
Why not? It needs to be separate from the BigAnt game considering the different devs, and there's precedent for it. The Wii cricket game was called 'Cricket'.

Hi everyone,

You can edit any existing teams and customise them as much as you like however you cannot make any new teams. Australia does not feature in the International Cup for the same reason as mentioned, that they are not in the real competition. However you can always play with the All-Australian team against any of the international teams in a quick match.

We have released new screenshots on our site and facebook. Check them out!

Also we have held back on announcing a secret fun feature! Stay tuned for more details!

Goalkicking looks interesting.

Are you able to explain how that works?

It definitely looks different to BigAnt's style of behind the back, adjusting for natural arc and wind and then setting the power.

Happy to explain what you can see in the image there.

While the image depicts a set shot, this screenshot is from one of the other camera angles you can select in your settings. The default setting for most gameplay is from behind the back. However, what this image demonstrates is a kicking guide for new players. The coloured arrow guide, while aiding in direction, is also useful for new gamers so they can get comfortable with how much they need to power up a kick for the ball to travel the required distance. Once gamers become skilled enough they can turn this guide off. The arc of the ball is based on your kick selection whether you have selected a torpedo, drop punt, check side (snap) or grubber. Swing is affected by the amount of twist or turn put on the Wiimote when using the kick action. This action is very similar to Wii bowling, so if you have adjusted for wind, then bowling a strike will equate in a goal!

Any news on the trailer?
yep we get it in 2000 facebook likes (LOL Good luck) or when the game is released (Stupid)
"We were ambitiously hoping to get 2000 likes here on FB before we released the trailer. Seems like a pipe dream now ;) but we would definitely prefer to have at least 1000 likes before we consider releasing the trailer."

Guess we gotta get it up to 1000.

Lol that was me that asked that on WW wall.. didnt know we needed to get them 2000 likes (like that was going to happen). Even 1000 is unlikely.

Whats with all this "When we get x amount of likes we will release x", why not just release it?

I guess it's all about generating interest in your product first off before releasing anything substantial about it.

Wouldnt they start to get more 'likes' by releasing info and trailer? the public may start getting interested.. thus liking the page.

instead of waiting for people to like it and then releasing the trailer. Most people wont even know of WW so they wont be getting likes. I didnt know of them until i saw there game.

So I take it the release for this game is now on par with the PS3/360 version of AFL?

Since there was all that talk of "the Wii version will probably come earlier" and we're now approximately 3 weeks to a month before the PS3/360 versions hit I wouldn't expect to see the Wii version suddenly just 'be out' without even a trailer hitting (especially seeing that the PS3/360 version has had a trailer).

Agree with this, trailer should just be realeased now to generate interest
