A bit of info on Pippa seems like a very good get for the football club is very highly respected in her field

From the Age Bio article in April

"Ms Pippa Grange, General Manager, Culture and Leadership, AFL Players Association.
Ms Grange was born, raised and schooled in Yorkshire, England. A life-long Arsenal supporter, she came to Australia to continue her studies, and work in the field of sports science and psychology where she was immediately introduced to the indigenous game. It was love at first sight.

Ms Grange currently plays an important role in developing and administering policies in relation to the education of players about all matters cultural, including sexuality, drugs and alcohol and domestic violence."

I wonder if we will adopt the strategy of high altitude training a la Pies and Kangaroos?
Brad Scott is a devotee so perhaps Chris will follow?
Feedback from the father of a Kangaroos player last night was that whilst it was incredibly hard they feel that it is necessary to assist aerobic capacity by improving red corpuscle production ( sorry , not a medico ! )
Pies have been doing this for a few years now and they credit their improved 2nd / 3rd efforts and endurance in part to this training.
Apparently if it's done consistently there is a residual benefit ?
Interesting times ahead.

If the following quote from Boris is an indication it doesn't appear so.

"Also, coming from last year, when we trained at Newtown and St Albans, we're happy to be training at the one venue and getting some fresh ideas and new ideas."

I think that's got more to do with the nomadic preseason the Cats had due to the redevelopment of Skilled Stadium. Scott's appointment was probably a bit too late to try anything more 'radical' this time, perhaps next preseason might see something different.

Nothing wrong with Brett
he never bagged us and was a trier. There is always going to be more players that didn't win us premierships than do.Anybody who wants to work for the Cats regardless of name is welcome.

I wonder if we're going to go for a more endurance program this year or continue in the direction of enhancing the repeat sprint ability of players. With the new interchange laws you would think there would be a bit more of the former, what ever the program it will be strongly tied in with the game plan.
