It's a major sponsor. I wouldn't get too excited about the logo until we see the finished product on the jumpers. I think for the launch a sticker on the forehead would have sufficed.

But their logo, in that form, on our jumper, seriously looks absolutely horrible.

But as has been pointed out multiple times, it won't be featuring on the front of the home guernseys. Throw it on the back of the jumper, below the number, and there's no problems with it.

On the front of the away gear it actually looks OK:




I prefer the second by far, and hopefully they opt for something like that too, but I'm not offended by the first one.

The original photo likely shows a temporary sticker they slapped on for the purposes of the shoot. The size and design is not 100% locked in, and if we can all tell that it looked pretty shite, I reckon the folks at C1 and the club can tell that too.

They'll get it right for round 1.

Okay, that's quite alright. Hopefully they do sort it and don't just bend to the sponsors desire to stand out and be noticeable even if it's garish. (Having a cynical day, I know).

Just want to point out that this is our clash jumper, not our away jumper so in 11 away games, we might wear that one about 5 times. The logo looks okay on the white but not on the Navy.

Unless of course we have opted to wear the white for all away games now and I missed it. That's a very real possibility with me of late.

Ehh it should bother me but it doesn't. Just means I won't buy this seasons guernsey but with 4 or 5 already at home, that's not a bad thing.

As for Acquire Learning, I had no idea they were that bad.

CareerOne are a great get.

However Acquire Learning can **** off, private higher education firms are a joke, they exist solely to provide a more accessible more expensive option to students, usually taking advantage of kids from lower socioeconomic backgrounds and foreign exchange students. I hope their headquarters burn down in a fire and all their staff make it out safely.

No matter how the logo ends up looking on our guernsey, CareerOne have virtually recouped their investment with the amount of talk about & pictures of the logo since the announcement earlier this week. Maybe this was nothing more than a clever marketing ploy & ultimately the logo will be less noticeable than some are suggesting.

Are we all complaining about a guernsey? I mean, yeah we are all entitled to an opinion, and it doesn't look that great. But I don't feel that it is necessary creating a song and dance about it.

I don't care if they are wearing CareerOne underwear. As long as they are taking action on the field and putting in a sustained effort, I'm one happy bluebagger.
