Agree. Without knowing any of the detail of the selection criteria, looks like we've grabbed a hungry young guy on the improve ... never a bad recruiting strategy.

Gold coasts drafting over the last two years has been actually pretty good.
Drafting would have been hard at essedon for the time he was there.
I think everyone acknowledges how good the Adelaide recruiting team is the amount of people that have left that club yet their still in contention staggers me.
He's been in a variety of roles I especially like the football analysis talk.
Ten years in the industry means he's experienced.

Especially given the club is coming off a great trade period and a good draft performance, meaning we are a long way from dysfunctional. Hopefully he can add something to that rather than rebuild our recruiting department.
